We booked this hotel because of its 4 star rating and because of its location. The location did not disappoint but the hotel did on a few points. We might have been expecting too much but the room was not the best and we had the sinking feeling when first shown our room but then we opened the balcony doors...

Husband & I have been back for 1 week from this wonderful hotel. Please ignore the negative reviews. Yes - there are steps - approx 25 - that you have to carry your luggage from the coach to the reception on check in, so if you feel you have difficulties with this - discuss with your travel agent before booking...

The whole atmosphere of the hotel led to a relaxing time. nice pool. Thanks to George who looked after us in the bar. I cant think of a negative about...

I would not recommend this disgusting/filthy place to anyone. We arrived at this hotel to be greeted by a mountain of steps to carry our luggage up with no assistance from any hotel staff (I had recently had a shoulder op and found this very difficult). We were greeted by the most rudest man ever who didn't have much to...

Had a fab two weeks holiday. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a fridge and air con. Great communal areas like the bar, pool bar and restaurant giving plenty of activities and space when required. Our best part was the food, traditional Greek food with loads of variety and choice, all 4 of us managed to eat...

Stayed as part of family group of four adults and kids aged 3, 6 and 12. The hotel isn't brand-spanking new, but has a nice feel and everything is kept in good order, with rooms being cleaned daily. Apart from a local singing traditional Greek songs in the bar each evening there is no entertainment, and there's no disco or...

Just got back from our first visit here. We had on previous years been staying next door. We liked the look of this place and had heard good reviews from a couple who were staying there. We went bed & breakfast with two of our kids aged 11 and 16. We had booked a room with a view. Having arrived...

Arrived back yesterday after 2 weeks at Porto Skala. We loved it. We are a family of 5, so had two adjoining rooms each with its own balcony. Exactly what you would expect from Greece, clean, relatively basic, but everything that you need. The staff were all so friendly and the chef (Maria) was on hand every evening to talk...
