Our visit in Sterling karwar was awesome... I had visited this place after 15,years and was happy to see the change in Karwar city also.. Special thanks to Vilma for allowing us to check in early and also check out late since my child had to attend his online class... She also guided us during our stay at the hotel... Beaches are neat and clean... We also enjoyed the boat ride.... Udippi cafe a very good restaurant for pure vegetarians.. Nice place to stay if you want to avoid crowded beaches like in Goa...

If you seek to stay at a quiet place in but which also offers the best views there is, then it is the definitely Sterling, Karwar that wins hands down. The swaying coconut trees, the majestic Kali river merging into the Arabian sea and the gorgeous green hills offer the best views ever. The restaurant at Sterling offers great food. Our stay was made even more comfortable by Ajay from the restaurant who took care of our every need. In fact every person from the hotel's staff was so cooperative and welcoming that we felt at home. The property is just next to the highway and parking is ample. Karwar city is just 5-10 mins drive while the beach is even closer than that. Hotel Rooms are huge and the bed is very comfy. Washrooms are equally huge. Furniture looks a bit old and may be needs to be upgraded. Rooms service is spot on and there was nothing to complain about. If I have to stay again at Karwar, i would most definitely choose Sterling again.…

The hotel is located in a superb location! The staff in the restaurant is amazing! Food quality is too class! Special mention for Ajay who made our stay memorable. The nature is in abundance and we could see a peacock pair early in the morning!
