Cintacor Island Resort is a perfect getaway, nestled in the Arabian Sea. A 20 minute boat ride from the Karwar Port & you are in paradise. The minute you step off the boat at the jetty , you are welcomed by the efficient & friendly staff , who escort you to the reception in a buggy . The Rooms called “ Cabins “ have enchanting names like Scallop & seashell & the sea view from each Cabin is unique and beautiful . The infinity pool, which is the highlight of Cintacor, has stunning views through the day & at sunset. The island has its own private beach, with a beach shack & water sports like Water scooters, Banana boats & canoeing . At night the Jolly Rogers club & the Restaurant offer cocktails, entertainment & delectable food. The cuisine varies from local seafood, Indian and continental . The Kurumasana Spa is a divine experience with views of the Ocean .All in all a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Will definitely be back …., can’t wait !!

We visited the resort in Nov 2020 and were extremely happy that we made right choice for our vacation.
It was a pleasant experience right from booking until check-out. They have pickup from mainland Karwar and we reach this beautiful island through a boat(40min ride). A safe parking place was arranged for our car.
A golf cart is available to move around the property.
The location is just so beautiful, calm and clean.
The infinity pool is relaxing and offers an amazing view of sunset. The pool is frequently sanitized (In view of the current situation).
The rooms are spacious and decorated tastefully overlooking the forest and sea beyond. It has a large balcony to relax.
Food is very delicious, I would rate that as 4.8/5.
Jolly Rogers club has a lounge, some indoor games, books and Karaoke system for enjoyment.
Manager Sarafin, Chef Senthil, restaurant in-charge Nitin and club in-charge Laxmikant all made our stay memorable.
Very friendly, courteous staff ready to help.
The resort offers a host of activities including various types of private cruises, water sports etc

Overall a nice secluded stay at an Island cut off from the rest of the world. Beautiful sights. An excellent place to get away from the daily nitty-gritty's and make refreshing memories.
Wonderful and very courteous staff. They pay special attention to the guests (and kids!) and keep the place nice and tidy. Special thanks to Sarafin/Nitin(F&B) Gayathri (Housekeeping) and all the staff at Nemo's deck.
Liked the fact that steps are being taken to reduce the plastic pollutants like reusable glass water bottles. Well maintained. Wish the plastic trash that guests dispose near the balconies are also cleared from time to time.
Request the team to install master power cut off switch in all the cabins to reduce the power consumption when not occupied.
The beach front is pretty small and best suited when there are limited guests.
The hotel internet/cell phone network coverage is sporadic which is sometimes a blessing in disguise:)

We stayed in Cintacor for 4 nights in End November’20 and it was a pleasant and relaxed stay overall. Glad that the management has not disturbed the flora and fauna of the place and that makes for a better connect with nature. The food (especially the sea food) was a delight thanks to Chef Senthil and his team. The other people who made the stay memorable was Sarafin (the property manager), Lakshmikanth and Amit. Their attitude in ensuring that their patrons are well taken care of is much appreciated. The cabins were tastefully done with a good view of the sea. A couple of things that could have been better is the gap between the cottages and the boat that brings one from the mainland to the island. The infinity pool was very well maintained and the upper deck of the restaurant is a lovely place for a candle light dinner. Will plan to visit Cintacor sometime again in the future.

Dear Guest, Thank you for this lovely review of your experience at Cintacor Island Resort. Indeed, your adventure holiday begins with the boat journey from the mainland to the island. The cabins are also located amidst the foliage. We do hope you had enjoyed all the holiday activities as well. The team, including Chef, Sarafin, Lakshmikant and Amit are all thrilled and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Cintacor, like the website says is an amazing holiday spot for everyone. Natural beauty is retained, very well maintained and excellent hospitality. Entire staff right from welcoming to the resort with delicious juice till we leave the resort, we were taken very very good care by everyone. Food was very tasty and they customised based on our needs. Staff is very friendly and caring, to name a few Akshay, who gave us lot of comfort at dining hall everytime. Saraffin and Nithin made sure our stay is soothing, and Subhash took us to trek through natural trails, unveiling breath taking views around the island. Kids loved playing in beach (though there were so many jellyfishes), we were very well taken care of. Kids loved water sports especially Banana boat ride. Staff especially head cook, Senthil made sure we enjoy our choice food. All thanks to him.
Not to miss the lovely sunsets and natural rock formations are amazing.
Overall, it was an amazing experience in the mid of the ocean, great hospitality and I feel like visiting again.....

My wife and I visited Cintacor in Oct 2020 after staying indoors largely for over 6 months due to COVID. The location of the island was outstanding (30 mins away from the mainland on a motor boat), the ocean views from the room are jaw dropping too, and the service standards and hospitality are top notch. That said, the best part of our vacation was time spent on the private beach in the island Kayaking and swimming in deep waters without being too far from the shore. There are other water sports for those interested like speed boating, jet ski and banana boating. There is also a short hiking trail around the Island that is well marked and offers stunning views of the islands around and the ocean. The price tag is pretty steep but we felt it was well worth it if you are the outdoorsy type that likes being active while on a holiday in a serene place.
Definitely revisiting soon!

Our last vacation took us to one of the most beautiful place and magnificent resort. This was one of our most memorable holidays - thanks to the location, views and the extremely hardworking team there.
We spent 4 days at this property and spent most of our times outdoors inspite of having breathtaking views of the endless sea from our room. Every room has sea views and their safety and hygiene protocols are excellent.
You are amidst an island with endless sea around you and it’s blessed with natural beauty within. There’s beautiful trail you can walk through and circumvent the island. There’s a small private beach where you can avail some water sports like kayak, jet ski, banana boat or speed boat. They have a fantastic infinity pool from where you have gorgeous sea views.
We were lucky to spot dolphin, terrapin turtle. eagles, seagulls and many other animals. Their bar has small game area and you can spend evenings there.
The food is outstanding and we mostly tried fresh sea food and again extremely well done by their F&B team Nitin, Sendil and Martin and Peterson. I was also spoilt by signature cocktails by Amit.
Sarafin their front desk manager was very patient and customer focused. We also used their spa services and it was exceptional!
Also a big thanks to Chandan who leads the team there and was very kind to make our stay pleasant.
What impressed me is the fact the resort has no single use plastic. Do book in advance as they are usually sold out and there are 2 days in Jan they don’t operate.
Highly recommend this place for couple, family or solo traveller to get away from fast life and enjoy the beauty of nature.

We had booked for 3days package, Luxury room to spend our 10th Anniversary. After parking the car near the boat pickup point, it takes 30 minutes ride to reach the beautiful island.
The first impression by seeing the room & balcony we felt it was less maintained & didn’t meet our expectations. But after request , they had cleaned & maintained well.
Beautiful, rustic, exclusive place far from mainland and chaos of daily life. Its peaceful and green and serene.
The infinity pool makes you want to be to this place again. The view of pool and the sea at the back is amazing.
Many water sports and activities are offered on the beach, which makes the stay more exciting. We can relax at the private beach too.
The main chef Mr.Sendhil, is really a good chef, the dishes he made are really lip smacking. Mr.Nitin from FMB had taken good care of us, proactive in helping to decide food menus & was very friendly too . Great service from Mr Sarafin too.
Every staff was having a smile on their face with ready to help attitude.
Swimming pool is maintained well by the staffs there working so hard in the sun.
We couldn't spot dolphins & watch sunset due to the bad(Rainy) weather.
Captured our lovely moments of life . Overall the cintacor island resort and the staff all make it a special and perfect vacation
PS. All Covid-19 safety protocols were strictly adhered to at all times by all the staff at the island.
Rooms and washroom maintenance can be improved is my suggestion to meet the standard of luxury rooms.

Apparently India's only private island resort this beautifully maintained property , Cintacor offers a luxurious break away from reality. Its beautiful landscaped gardens, the best infinity pool J have ever seen, a private cove with a beautifully naturally landscaped beach, nature walks and exciting things to explore are some of it's highlights.
The rooms are modern, spacious and overlook the forest and sea beyond.
The staff are extremely courteous and attentive. The food (especially the breakfast buffet) is incredible and the dining area offers a spectacular view. The staff make arrangements for a pickup from their private parking area near Karwar Bridge to the jetty from where a boat is arranged (a 40 minute ride) to the island. The resort offers a host of activities including various types of private cruises, water sports, hiking etc
The pool is open and frequently sanitized (In view of the current situation.), Also the cove offers good swimming for those who know how to swim. There are golf carts for those who would not want to walk, and a lounge and game room as well.
make sure to communicate check in time properly with the staff to facilitate an easy pickup by the ferry.

Beach is 5 minutes walk from rooms. Hotel also have buggies tontake tou and bring you back. Yes there are chairs and loungers on the beach. Please note this is like a private beachbof the island, so its not like miles long. Its small beach with water sports, swimming on one side and stones on other.
