The Turtle Nest Inn is a quiet, relaxing, getaway in a small town on Grand Cayman Island. I've read some of the negative reviews and I have a few suggestions that may help travelers decide if the "Nest" is the place for them. The Turtle Nest is just as I described above, a getaway! Yes, you need to rent a...

My husband and I stay at the Turtle Nest Inn for our honeymoon. It was our first visit to the Cayman Islands, but it certainly won't be our last. Turtle Nest Inn would be my first choice for lodging on our next visit. It was like like a fantasy trip: starting with the fun sushi dinner at Yoshi's, the romantic...

After reading the reviews of the Turtle Nest Inn, my husband and I tried to get reservations in 2008 and they were booked, so we stayed at another condo on the north side of the island, which, let's say, felt like we were camping out (no hot water, no TV, sand blowing into the room, etc.) So this year we...

My wife and I had great time staying at the Turtle Nest Inn. The beach at the Inn is the best, based on our experience, snorkling beach on the GC. To watch large schools of fish go to the reef a little bit to the left of the Turtle Nest condos.

My Wife and I have vacationed in several Caribbean Islands and stayed at "All Inclusive" resorts and 5 star hotels. This was our first time to Grand Cayman. We were looking for something different and liked the reviews on Turtle Nest Inn. If you are lokking for a fancy 5 star hotel, go to the Ritz. But, if you want...

My wife and I selected the Turtle Nest Inn as our place to stay on our first trip to Grand Cayman and don't regret it a bit. We heard of the hotel from a friend who had visited the island and we continue to thank her when we see her for her suggestion. Neither my wife or I are big...

Just to give you an idea of the type of travelers we are my husband and I do not like really touristy things. For instance, we did not like rum point. However, we loved Turtle Nest Inn. It is located in the middle of the island, close to everything but far enough away to feel like you are in your...

This review will be very long and detailed because we want folks to know what we learned about the Turtle Nest Inn. When booking this trip, I had a gut feeling that this was not the wonderful place that both Tripadvisor and the Turtle Nest Inn described. There was a considerable emphasis on policy concerning payment, particularly that once you...

The hospitality by the staff was over the top, from giving us the best room available, to giving extensive advice on restaurants, tours, sightseeing, even to the extent of making calls to make reservations. They are knowledgeble locals who care. Next, the place is small and quiet, with a good snorkeling beach and pool. And it is central on a...

We stayed in Turtle Nest Condos (Condo #6). These are 2 bed “town” homes with a kitchen/diner/sitting room downstairs together with lavatory and 2 en-suite bedrooms upstairs. In our condo the sitting room and master bedroom looked out over the beach to the ocean and lovely sunrises (if you are up that early!). John does a great job manning the...
