Go. Just go. You will not regret it. Straight out of the movies with white sand, palm trees, not too many people. Perfect balance of great service and amenities without being snobby. So relaxed and relaxing. Cute little cabins, good day trips, awesome beach, walk-in snorkeling, amazing staff. Try to get there when there is a pretty good guarantee of...

What a beautiful place. Our family of four included two boys, ages 9 & 11. We stayed in SandPiper North and loved our room for the location and the views (the room you receive is based on how many people you are with as they either fit 2, 3 or 4 people). The staff - every last person there -...

We spend 4 wonderful nights, the Intimate Island Interlude package, in the Ospreys Nest South cottage. The room was small, but clean, comfortable and functional. But the best part was the large deck overlooking the reef crest and the most unforgettable view! In addition, there was a smaller deck off the back that was a great place to sit to...

This was the last stop of our two week vacation in Belize, and we clearly saved the best for last. This section of the island allows for walk in snorkeling with very good water quality and many underwater attractions. You are also capable of signing up for trip to other submerged reefs in the area...so snorkeling was great. The staff...

After 50+ emails over the course of a year, Pelican's did not disappoint! Theresita and her team were incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. Set on a dream-like island along the barrier reef, their Heron's Hideaway Bungalow was one of the most unforgettable accommodations we have ever stayed in. The wedding was flawless and the setting was as...

A great beach resort to relax and snorkel.Arrived on a 15 minute Tropic Air flight from Belize International to Dangriga airstrip then a 45 minute/ 14 mile speedboat trip East to South Water Caye. This was in an open fibreglass boat so was bumpy with some sea spray ,but fine on a relatively calm evening. There were only 5 guests including us...

Just loved it Herons Hideaway was the perfect room Staff just great, food just lovely, Kevin so attentive to detail For such a remote location a very well done for everything that you attain Snokelled with Sharks Unfortunately the weather was not perfect for the whole time, lots of seaweed washed in and sea turned very choppy which made for...

My experience at Pelican Beach was like most of the reviews. From the arrival at the pretty little dock to the day I departed 3 days later, it was all good. The beach snorkeling was good, and with hammocks at each cottage and also on the deck, relaxing was also easy to do. My cottage was basic but reminded me...

After a week between Lamanai and Chan Chich we decided to rest up for the trip home at Pelican Beach. Turned out to be a poor choice. To get there required a ride of about an hour +/- in a 20 ft, skiff with outboard motor. Unfortunately for us it was very windy and there were white caps on about...

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. After a somewhat lengthy and a little rough boatride, we couldn't believe our eyes. This little island is like what you'd see in a movie. Beautiful water, beach, coconut trees and mangroves. We stayed in Heron's Hideaway, a standalone little cottage right on the water. It was gorgeous. Very private, comfortable, rustic...
