Had a really unique & memorable experience with all the family, however as much as the accomodation was comfortable & the staff were warm & friendly the general the grounds, facilities and pool area are in desperate need of TLC. The overwhelming smell of bird poop is horrendous especially worse in certain areas which we had to avoid. The pool...

Our experience was underwhelming. We attended on a day trip and whilst the buffet lunch was pretty good that's where it kind of stopped. The clear bottom boats were useless when they weren't even clear or large enough for us to see anything through them. Snorkelling equipment was old and fragile and definently needs to be replaced. The facilities could...

This eco lodge style resort prides itself on a sustainable view to showing guests the reef and island. Lady Elliot does this really well. This adds to the experience on an island where guests can be close to nature and learn of the many Great Barrier Reef miracles by simply walking outside your resort room. Swimming, snorkelling and diving all...

We were here 35 years ago and delighted to come back and find it is still a low key resort ( albeit with many extras that weren't available then!) ) with the focus being the reef and its conservation.. Accommodation is basic but adequate and ideal for a short holiday where you want the focus to be discovering the island...

Lady Elliot Island has been my dream since 2011, when I read about this place in Lonely Planet. In May 2016 my dream became true. Or actually it was much better than a dream! We loved every single moment on the island - it's such a beautiful place full of birds, manta rays, great snorkeling and diving! The food was...

The staff and the diving get a 10/10 from us! A fabulous long weekend away with crystal clear water, magnificent sunsets on the beach with a relaxing beverage in hand, amazing food and incredibly fun, experienced dive staff. We can't fault LEI. Thank you for a fabulous experience. We'll be back. :-)

I cannot find enough OMG words to describe what a wonderful place #LadyElliotIsland is and we took no photos cause we were living in the moment and enjoying the experience. The highlight for me was my 17 year old gurgling with excitement under water as inquisitive green turtle swam up to us and pushed his shell up so she could...

We loved this place. Both my eight and eighteen year old loved it! It's a very special experience. The snorkeling is fantastic. We saw turtles, sting ray, manta ray, Reef shark, plus a bunch of beautiful colored fish. The dive shop folks are helpful and you do not need any of your own equipment. I was happy that I had...

This is an excellent place to enjoy. From the staff, to the food to the wildlife every moment was extraordinary. We saw mantas, turtles in the water and laying their eggs. Multitudes of bird life and the best coral and fish that we have ever seen in the world. The flight was magnificent. You have to plan a trip soon.
