I stayed 4 nights there at beginning of october, a little escape from the busy life. What i appreciated is no extra charge for single. I don't agree with "if you don't have a car don't go there". I came by train, and right in front of the residence is the bus station. The reception gives you copy of the...

This hotel is more an aparthotel with kitchenette in the room than a real hotel. The fact that the reception is only staffed gives the same feeling. The rooms are big enough and clean but having the room cleaned every day after your arrival would mean an extra on top of the normal price so if you stay there for...

The location of the hotel is great and the view to Lago Maggiore is beautiful. The hotel building itself is more modest than you could expect from the brochures and photos in the Internet. The rooms are ok, clean and spacious, but there is nothing special in them. The oddest thing was that when we run out of toilet paper,...

We stayed here twice last year, see my review for those stays, and this year made a spontaneous decision to return again for a few days. Being a last minute booking we were content to take almost whatever was available, but ended up with what must be the best apartment in the place, 16B. On arriving the staff remembered us...

Our extended family stayed here for several days in June 2013. We had an absolutely wonderful time and were very happy with this place. Out of 3 destinations on a 10-day trip to Italy, everyone agreed this was by far the best. Between all of us we had 3 rooms. My family of 5 was in a 2-story 2-bedroom loft...

We just spent one week in this residence conveniently located right on the shore of Lake Maggiore between Arona and Stresa. The location is great, the overall quality of the building is excellent and the personnel is welcoming and ready to solve any problem. Still, a few details could be better: Neither on the web page nor during the booking...

Beautiful appartments, very well equiped. We actually stayed twice, it was so good we returned! The first time we had one of the appartments on the second floor, this was a better layout for 2 people with kitchen bathroom and living with balcony on one floor then stairs up to a large bedroom with terrace on both ends. Be aware...

The Antico Verbano is set right on Lake Maggiore and is a fairly new apartment complex with a restaurant and, most importantly, a swimming pool overlooking the lake. The apartment was extremely spacious, modern and very well equipped. We had a small balcony with a view of the lake. Meina is a good base for exploring the Piemonte countryside and...

We had the most beautiful spot of the residence wherein the lake is almost within reach. We really liked the kitchenette complete with all the cuttleries and plates and not to mention the modern electric stove and the mini fridge. Our room was very spacious and bed was really comfortable, our son even had his own bed without added fee....

We stayed at this hotel with our family of two adults and two children (ages 3 and 11). We were given a two-floor room with two bedrooms (one with queen size bed and the other with two twin beds). Since the hotel was very recently renovated, our room still did not have bathrooms upstairs :-( Otherwise, the room was lovely,...
