I travel a lot in Italy and Hotel Cannobio has now become one of my favourite hotels. The location cannot be beaten, the view from the room was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent but what really made the difference for me was the staff....More

Many classy hotels in the Lake Maggiore area had nightly price tags (late. sept 2012) well in the £3-400/$5-700 range. A luxury room with balcony on to the lake, and no main road in front for well below that meets the pocket of the senior...More
Couldn't fault the location right by the lake in the heart of the village, or the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Room 202 on the corner of the second floor had great views, but was not exactly spacious.

I did not stay at the hotel, sorry cannot help on that one. I would guess that if you send them an e-mail ahead of time, or tell them at check-in, they will be able to arrange something for you. Italy has all the food... More
I did not stay at the hotel, sorry cannot help on that one. I would guess that if you send them an e-mail ahead of time, or tell them at check-in, they will be able to arrange something for you. Italy has all the food allergy (ect) alternatives in their shops.
