Fantastic location directly at the lake. Terrace and garden offer a great view and are lovingly created. Rooms are simple and old. Dinner is good, but breakfast is an impudence: if you book a nightover including breakfast, you expect more than bread, butter and marmelade! You have to pay for everything on top - for eggs, cheese, ham etc. (2,5... More

We were 6 cyclists on tour, en route to Brescia. Cute system of order taking by what looked like the old owner and a younger waitron shadowing him and duplicating the order. This led to some interesting outcomes. The pastas were tasty and the salads fresh. The cappuccinos were not very good. Medium to weak and bubbly froth as opposed... More

We stopped here for a coffee and light lunch as we were driving up the west side of Lake Garda. Good prices, welcoming but non-intrusive staff, spotlessly clean, and an absolutely wonderful location. We sat at a table on the terrace and it was heavenly.

My partner and I had dinner at the restaurant and sat outside looking across the beautiful view. Most amazing location right on the lake. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The food was absolutely amazing, best food we had all holiday. The smoked swordfish appetiser was incredible. Best restaurant we found in lake garda, would absolutely... More

We stumbled across this hotel after cancelling our reservation at another hotel that we disliked so much. Being June,in Garda,we drove around for a while finding alternate accommodation and we drive past the hotel which looked so inviting from the road that we stopped in on the pure chance of hoping to find a room. We met with Stefan, who was... More

This medium sized hotel is excellent in every respect. Family owned and run it has a great deal of character , the food is excellent and the rooms,,all with balconies overlooking the lake, are spacious and pleasant. There is a small swimming pool as well as easy access for swimming in the lake from the attractive gardens. We would highly... More

We are from Toronto, Canada and travel to Europe every year. We stumbled on to Hotel Forbisicle about 5 years ago and have come back every year since. It has a very private beach for guests only and lovely rooms with view of the lake and all the water sports that are going on. It is a lot of fun... More

My husband & I stumbled across this gem whilst looking for somewhere to eat as night & darkness was drawing in. We were warmly greeted by the owner & had some great giggles when the waitress thought we were Germans & presented us with menus in the wrong language. We had a long chat with a lovely family from the... More

an absolutely exclusive cosy family hotel hanging on the cliff over Lago Di Garda, with its own private territory and beach; the owner Mr Angelo has been greeting his guests there for the last 60-something years and his wife in the kitchen - can always recommend the best food there is today; one feels totally like visiting family or something...
