Slievemoyle Cottages are self-catering holiday cottages, Quality Graded by Tourism Northern Ireland as 4 - star. We have 5 cottages - all restored traditional 200+ year old stone buildings - which can be booked separately or together. They are perfect for couples, families, groups of friends on holiday or for celebrations and get togethers. Each cottage is comfortable, cosy, beautifully appointed, well - equipped, has gorgeous views, lovely garden areas and plenty of parking space. The very special area of Strangford and Lecale is at our doorstep, as is Castle Ward National Trust property, HBO Game of Thrones locations and pretty Strangford Village and the Lough. We also have budget dormitory accommodation for up to 20 people in a newly converted farm building (it was a milking parlour, dairy and feed loft), most suitable for larger groups wishing to stay in the area for outdoor pursuits - walking, water sports, cycling etc - but also suitable for celebrations, events and retreats.

We stayed in Rose cottage as part of a larger group for a family wedding at the Old Court Chapel in Strangford.

Thank you very much for your lovely review! We loved having you stay and are so glad that the cottage accommodation was so suitable - and the weather was wonderful too. Max just loves hanging out with our guests and always misses them when they go. Hope to see you back again soon. Kindest regards to you and all your family, near and far! Greer and Maureen

Beautifully appointed cottages, set in rolling fields of hay, an affectionate black labrador, eager for walks; yellowhammers, linnets and swallows dodging a patrolling kestrel; a wood fired stove, a bathtub, breathtaking views. Strangers Lough on the horizon, glimmering. Greer an

Thank you David, for such a great review. So glad that you and your family all enjoyed the peace and tranquility - and the freedom to wander our fields. We agree that the cottages are located in a wonderful area - Strangford Lough and Lecale - often over-looked by folks heading for the better known North Coast. Castle Ward, just a few minutes away, is our favourite National Trust property - so much to see and do. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you 'next time!' Kindest regards, Greer and Maureen

We stayed in the barn & cottage, the cottage was amazing.. lovely and cosy. The barn was spacious with plenty of room and the self catering was a great option with Downpatrick & Strangford being so close. Although the barn was quite cold and we had to get another of slievemoyles

Thank you so much for your lovely review - very much appreciated. So glad that you had a great stay - despite it being during the coldest April on record! Our wood-burner was under pressure to keep the barn warm. Glad we were able to relocate the family with younger children to a cottage at Slievemoyle. Thanks again for choosing our accommodation for your group and hope to see you again in the future! Kind regards, Greer and Maureen

We had a group of 11 staying across the Blackthorn and Mill Cottages for 5 nights. The cottages were lovingly renovated, clean, comfy and had all the mod cons and self catering facilities you could need, including a welcome basket filled with tea, coffee, milk and some local bake

My parents and my family (my husband and I with 5 boys 12yrs and younger) stayed in the Blackthorn Cottage in early July. My mom and dad were over from the states and we live in Birmingham England. We had a wonderful time in this cottage that is hidden away from the main road.
