We have been visiting this hotel since the late nineteen seventies, predominantly for the fillet de perch. Well I'm pleased to confirm that hasn't changed in the last forty years. Home made french fries, crisp salad, and of course the star attraction - the perch sautéed in lemon butter. We had a room with balcony overlooking the lake and quay...

We arrived on an August evening without reservations and considered ourselves extremely fortunate to secure the last open table of the night. After a stroll through the old town of Yvoire and down a steep narrow cobblestone street, you discover this gorgeous building beside Lac Leman and its glass and open air restaurant with extraordinary views across the water. Our...

Recently had "fillet de Perche" for lunch. All members of family felt sick for the whole week. However, to be fair, service is fairly good and view is great. Other items on the menu are probably better. No " fillet de Perche" there anymore!

We visit Yvoire often in the summer, & try & eat here as often as possible. Our friends were staying with us at our Alpine farm, enjoying the super weather, & all the good food that Haute Savoie has to offer. It made sense, for one day, to spend time by the water, so drove to Lac Leman, phoned in...

Lovely terrace, food OK, good and reasonable wine, stunning views and slow service which was to be expected as the restaurant was full. You will not be disappointed. You go to Yvoire for the filet de perches, the lake, the views and the ambiance and the restaurant du port has it all.

We stayed here during July, and booked the room the day before. The village of Yvoire is something special, and tourist travel from near and far to see it. We had a lot of luggage and were uncertain of how to get to the hotel give that it is a medieval city with narrow streets and no cars. I walked...

If you've just arrived to Yvoire by boat, search no further, first restaurant you see in front of you is the winning one! Stylish 4* place, but still flexible for sportive and grange with excellent cuisine. Generous portions with equal prices to other restaurants in Yvoire. Great service. Make sure you reserve, because they are always full and that can't...

We stayed here for two nights at the tail end of our 25-day trip before catching the plane home from Geneva airport. Yvoire is reputed to be one of the most beautiful Medieval villages in France, situated on the south shore of Lake Geneva. Every building and piece of land in the tiny walled village is draped with flowers when...

If you are ever in Geneva or Laussane, plan a day trip to or stay in Yvoire. It is so picturesque, as its a walled, no car village and the Hotel du Port is the perfect place to stay. It's a beautiful inn brimming with flower boxes and good cheer. Beautiful views of lake and sunsets over alps. Gorgeous!!! Breakfasts...

Perfectly located restaurant on the port in Yvoire. The food is good, especially "les filets de perche", better book beforehand your table, as the place is very busy. We had a business meeting in the meeting room on the 1st floor, was very convenient.
