Lovely couple that run this B&B......Loretta and Ivan. Breakfasts are hearty and tasty. Ask for the french toast. The two rooms at the front of the inn have beautiful views of the water in the morning.

The people running this B&B are very friendly and the Bishop's house is well maintained. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. Our room had a nice ocean view. The breakfast was ample and well prepared. One warning, there are no good places in close proximity to have supper.

March 27th, 2010 not March 2015... We decided to forgo getting married in a Church, which would have been the one next to this building as a matter of fact, and we went the Marriage Commissioner route. After searching for a suitable place - where the maximum amount of our wedding party would have the least amount of travel -...

This home has been beautifully resorted to it's 1904 glory. The, plain on the outside house overlooks the ocean and has a full balcony for your pleasure. they even have a telescope in place for their guests. You will be greeted by Ivan and Loretta - a wonderful humble, gracious, kind, accommodating, and thoughtful couple. They will make your stay...

The location was the Bishops house and has been kept true to it's origins. The people are friendly and the food was great. A great place to stop off on your tour of the west coast. It is a bueatiful 20 minute drive along the coast to Stephenville with plenty of restaurants.

When we pulled up to the Palace Inn we were concerned that our experience may be less than what we hoped for. The building is unassuming, square, and the paint is peeling on some of the clapboards. However, once you enter the front door you immediately feel petty for having questioned the quality of this B&B! The B&B is beautifully...

What a lovely B&B! The owners are sweet and attentive and the accommodations are clean, updated and very pretty. The only drawback is that the church next door sounds the bells every hour on the hour. If you wait till the midnight bells (12), they can become "white noise" until about 5:00 AM, when it becomes, "not-so-white noise". I would...

We stayed for one night and had a lovely stay. We(two couples)had rooms 5 & 6 and were the only guests that evening. We enjoyed drinks out on the balcony overlooking the water, just beautiful. Ivan and Loretta couldn't have been more helpful, Ivan assisted with the bags up the stairs and breakfast was just lovely. I note other comments...

Ivan & Loretta are awesome people. Enjoyed their company at the delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed here in 2012 for a family reunion and this time it was a funeral for 2 nights. We were lucky to get a room. Unfortunately, the adjacent church bell is mechanical and not electronically controlled. So, the bell chimes every hour on the...

I have read other comments and I agree with most of them. Stay away from the bell. This place is out of the way which to me is great, but Stephenville is only 20 minutes away, Corner Brook a few more. Breakfast was real, not a restaurant, served by the owners. The company was very pleasant and the smiles were...
