My partner and I stayed at Maison Rancesamy now called Secret Pyrenees for a few days. We were cheerfully greeted by Tobias and Zayne who told us about the local area and what to do further afield (there are lots of things around). As far as the location the house it's set in lovely rolling countryside not dissimilar to parts...

The village of Lasseube, in the region of Pau, has seen the Tour de France pass through at least twice and has an excellent local wine, Jurancon. It is, however, this large farmhouse become boutique hotel that could draw one back. We can highly recommend this charming place and the atmosphere and experience created by its owners, Simon and Isabelle...

We spent a very nice stop over last month in a lovely property. We had a delicious dinner and found Isabelle and Simon delightful and interesting company. We would definitely recommend it as a good base in the area. However we do not have satnav and relied on the Google map attached to this entry. It is inaccurate and we...

A lovely property in the beautiful, peaceful, unspoiled foothills of the Pyrenees, and host and hostess who go to great trouble to provide a warm and sincere welcome. They have lots of ideas for things to see and do - don't miss the narrow gauge mountain railway through some of the most spectacular views you will ever see. David &...

This was towards the end of our honeymoon and offered us the chance to have a beautiful hosted dinner, which offered a mix of South African BBQ and European refinement. The beds are great, rooms are big, the environment is quiet with tremendous views. Breakfast a little simple, but more than made up for by lively hosts who give excellent...

Situated in the lovely Jurançon wine country just south of Pau, this beautiful converted farm house easily permits visits to taste the wines, visit Pau and interesting areas and activities around the city, as well as being ideally situated to explore both the Aspe and Ossau valleys. These valleys lead into the mountains for beautiful hiking and seeing the origins...

We stayed here at the end of May last year. The house is a beautiful old farmhouse set round a charming courtyard and garden, where you can eat outside when the evenings are good. Unfortunately we only had one warm, dry evening but enjoyed our stay all the same. This is a good location for people who enjoy walking but...
