Firstly the good stuff ! The location was excellent and the staff on reception were helpful, polite a mention for Laura ( good luck with your studies) the room was comfortable and breakfast was very good with plenty of choices.
Now the not so good stuff, a family of 4 basically self catering in 1 room creates a lot of waste, after 4 days I asked for our room to be cleaned i was told that it wasn’t due until the following day to pay for extra cleaning is 14 euro’s which i paid unfortunately they cleaned still leaving a bin of waste in the room also as i paid for extra cleaning the room didn’t get cleaned on the normal rota, the swimming pool was just ok a few tiles missing but clean, 3 days before we were leaving i asked if could extend our time of departure from 11am to 3pm i was this is possible for 25 euros but must confirm on the day before we leave,so on the day before we left i asked the question and was told its not possible to do ! Overall I would say satisfactory all that aside Palamos is gorgeous and Girona airport is probably the best airport we’ve travelled through.

Hey there, Johnbj! We're so grateful you took the time to share your thoughts with us. We're thrilled to hear that our prime location and helpful reception team made a positive impact on your stay; Laura sends her regards and thanks for the encouragement! It's also great to know that the comfort of your room and the variety of our breakfast buffet hit the mark. We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding the cleaning schedule and the room waste issue. Our policy indeed includes cleaning every four days for longer stays, but it seems we missed the mark on your expectation for additional cleaning services. We also take note of your feedback on the swimming pool and will look into it. As for the late check-out, it's typically subject to availability, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the miscommunication. It's heartening to know that despite some hiccups, you found Palamós to be gorgeous and had a smooth experience at Girona airport. We hope to welcome you back. All the best, Ona Palamós

Very nice hotel, good food although the dinner was very late at 8pm, would be better served at 6 or 7. Good selection, wine was nice too. Receptionist were great, hop Theresa is keeping well, she was great for instructions to different places. Rooms spacious with nice balcony,.

The hotel is not exceptional. It is a typical 70s construction, dating back to the unfortunate era of the urbanisation of the Spanish coastline. The rooms are very basic, badly need renovation (don't be misled by the pictures) and not well equipped - there was no kettle and no hairdryer. It is not a beachfront hotel, you've got to walk some 100 metres to the beach. The walk is not pleasant, the area is shabby and a construction site was nearby (in July 2005). We had B&B accommodation and the quality of breakfast was utterly unsatisfactory - we could not bring ourselves to drink acidic juice made from concentrate or to eat unhealthy-looking ham and cheese. The choice was extremely limited. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious, albeit with bizzarre layout: you enter through the bedroom, continue to the bathroom and finally arrive to the living room.

Can't say one positive thing about this hotel. Everything is just poorly made. Bad beds, bad showers, noisy, unhelpful staff, etc.
Maybe the only good thing is location, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Great location and friendly stay. COVID measures holds the safe place and clean. Swimming pool is working with time preference slots, similarly to breakfast. Gloves are available for breakfast. Near beach is cleaner than ever.

Excellent price-performance ratio, new installations and clean rooms. But the most notable was the standing out motivation and the sunny mood of the staff (especially in the reception). It bright our day and it was the first delighting encounter after travelling all the way down the Costa Brava.
Wonderful buffet, definitely more than worth the price.
Excellent knowledge of english at the reception. The hotel is just some steps away from the beach.
As someone who worked for many years in tourism&gastronomy, I'd definitely recommend this establishment.

Booked an apartment for four adults and one child. Fifth person had to sleep on a very poor fold down couch in the lounge. For an apartment it was poorly furnished lacking good cooking facilities (no microwave) and initially no kettle until we complained. Fridge inadequate size for a family staying a week. Air conditioning was inadequate to meet temperatures of 30 deg plus. Cleaning and linen changing only once every four days was very poor. Whole apartment a bit tired. Staff friendly and speak different languages, Breakfast not included. Nice swimming pool at no extra cost and adjacent bar very nice.

I'm only giving one star because the breakfast was good and the rooms looked nice upon first encounter. Other than that, I'd never recommend this hotel to anyone. In the four days that we were there, the wifi went down, the cleaning ladies cleaned our room ONCE; and that was after I had gone down to the concierge twice to insist that they come clean our room. Speaking of which, the concierge was extremely inconsiderate and rude when we tried averting them that the wifi was down. Another concierge gave us cheek when we tried getting passes to the gym. And considering Palamos is a warm city, you'd think they'd have air conditioning that actually worked. Instead, we were left to die in the heat and sometimes the air outside was cooler than in the rooms that were supposedly air conditioned.

When I booked the room, they promised us a mini kitchen, three beds and a living area. Instead, we were given a small two bedroom unit, but still charged for that original room. and they never gave us receipts, but still charged for extra parking even though we left two days earlier. It's as if the place was run by the Russian Mafia.
DON'T BOOK at this hotel.

p.s. I've stayed at over 5 hotels during this past year and this is the worst hotel I've ever been to.

I can say aparthotel palamos is clean , it has a good pool , close proximity to beech and shops , the building itself is modern and pretty new with spotless floors and a lift , that is the positives but there is a some negatives ,although the apartment is spacious, it has two single beds pushed together that slid apart if you tried to cuddle your partner , there was no way you could fix this , as there was two little night stands , beside the beds that were rock hard it was like sleeping on the floor , I never really slept until I went to the beech , the walls were pretty thin so you could hear what people next door were watching on TV , but you will get that in most budget hotels , I like Spanish food our breakfast was included, but it was horrible now I cannot comment on the lunch and dinner, as we never tried it , but the breakfast was horrible worst I have ever had on hols , also the staff were as unfriendly as you will ever find , I would go as far as saying rude , I don't know weather there overworked and underpaid , but they should try harder especially the main entrance and reception, it is a good job my partner is fluent in catalan and Spanish, or you will struggle in this hotel , the staff don't seem bothered , one more thing parking in hotel is expensive, and round the hotel is usually packed , so if you have a large car it will be challenging to get parked , in my opinion cleaniness 3 stars out of five ,staff 1 out of five , food 1 out of five .and check bed as soon as you arrive as u will probably change ,
