Hotel's Favourite
Great Hotel in the heart of Palamos within a short walk of the beach, old town, port and commercial centre. In fact the hotel itself is a bit of a local hub as the two bar areas (inside and out) are very popular with locals, so it has a real buzz.
Staff were really friendly and helpful and I also used the restaurant several times during my 5 day stay there. Highly recommended.

Our room was a good size, although it was interior facing, but this was not a major problem for a one night stay. It had a lot of storage space so would be perfect for a longer stay. The cleanliness could have been better, as we found lots of fluff on the floor and stains on the mirror.
The location of the hotel was also great, many bars and restaurants nearby and it’s right next to the beach.
We had the breakfast included and were so impressed with the service, despite being in a post-Covid era. It was still a buffet breakfast, but very well controlled - all guests were given gloves and had to enter with masks on, and the lady was only letting a few people in the food area at a time. If it is done correctly like this, there is still the possibility to enjoy a buffet breakfast.

We needed a hotel for one night and found this hotel. 70 rooms at 4 floors, a little noisy but we could sleep well in a good and comfortable king-size bed. The bathroom was complete with a good size shower and the price we paid was more than OK. You'll have to park at the beach parking which is save and around the corner, The bar of the hotel is a jam and the restaurant / breakfast room also. Nice staff so the whole visit was great.

What a lovely little hotel. I haven’t really had the time to explore yet as am here on a family emergency but this place is a little gem. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back with time to spare.
Have just eaten downstairs and the food was reasonably priced & delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and the bar and outdoor seating areas really welcoming with a cosy ambiance.
I’ve done a lot of traveling around the world & in the past have definitely paid more to get less.

I stayed here for 9 nights during the partial COVID lockdown, and I would stay there again. Friendly recption with helpful people. The rooms are not super luxurious, but the standard is fine. Good location too, with public parking only 1 block away.

Stayed here one night , an attractive hotel with a busy bustling restaurant around the entrance . The room was newly renovated ,clean and plesant . The room was however too small for the large comfortable bed , meaning that we had to climb over the bed to get to the window side , or edge our way along at the bottom. We are of average stature so if we had been larger it might have been a real problem . I think we just pulled the short straw , we were assured other rooms were not like this . Apart from this hitch ! The stay was very plesant , very nice staff , late bar , breakfast . Only other thing if we are picky , the coffee mach8 e for breakfast is not great , we just love Spanish coffee bought in bars , and would have loved a proper cup,of coffee for breakfast . This said we would definitely return there .

The Hotel Marina is at the centre of Palamos, right in front of the beach, with a nice sea view. The whole place has been just refurbished and gets nice rooms , impressive reception and Pub.
There is a very nice decorated inside restaurant and another one outside good for warm days and smokers as well.
The kitchen chef is from Wales, Mr. David Phillip Whelton, with a consistent experience in Barcelona restaurants.
Concerning the menu, the best appetizers are the following ones: patatas bravas with chistorra sausage, bacon and prawn spring rolls, cured ham croquettes, all of them from 5 to 10 € each one.
Regarding the starters, I suggest stuffed mussels with seafood and bechamel, mini baby squid croquettes with squid ink fish and of course, the fish and meat paella. The restaurant offers cod fish a la mussolina, meat filled calamari and the delicious duck breast with apple compote.
There is a large existing selection of wines, each bottle under 15 € and by the glass from 2.40 up to 3.75 €, reasonable rated.

I'm disappointed with the room cause it was very different from the photos in booking or in hotels.com.
It was so "tight" for a triple room that i can't imagine tree persons there.
I asked if they have some rooms with a balcony or for smokers, at the first time they said yes, they start to give another room and few minutes before they can't change us (in less than 5 min and with the other room key in the hand).
The room is very simple with the view for another wall or the next room, the best of the room is the bathroom and the cleanness.
The hotel lobby is very nice with a restaurant bar.
The breakfast was served in the restaurant and is another disappointment, without diversity (i asked if they can make me some eggs and i never had an answer).
The location is very good, 5 min walk for the beach.
