I had great, but short stay in the hotel. Very convenient place for hiking, very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms. Restaurant with big windows and nice balcony overlooking mountains. Will definitely come back one day.

Recently took 34 children on a skiing trip to this hotel. What an absolute pleasure it was. Thomas and his lovely extended family made us feel so welcome, nothing was ever a problem for them, everything was dealt with immediately and with a smile and this was the case throughout our trip. Rooms were superb, the food was second to none...

I have been a School Ski Trip Organiser for the past 6 years. We stayed at this Hotel two years ago and as everyone was so impressed we decided to return this year, arriving back in Wales on the 2nd April. The hotel rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable and there is WiFi access throughout. The hotel is just a 5-7...

Easy to find, plenty of free parking, large room. Friendly host and great breakfast. Free and fast wifi. My stay was only for one night since I was travelling to Croatia but I am a regular visitor of the area in the winter so I will definitely come back to this hotel !

Stayed here as leader of a school ski trip. Rooms were good and very clean. Food was good. Service from Thomas and his family was very good, they're genuinely nice people. The hotel is a short walk to the cable car and the village of St Michael is lovely. A good resort for a school ski trip.

You frequently get dismissed to a little better than staff quatrters when you arrive with a coach load of kids from England at most of the Alpine hotels (although to be honest the French set a very low bar) and if you read my other reviews, you will see that I try to be even handed in my reviews but...

We stayed in one of the family rooms or apartments and were amazed at its size. It had two double bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower and double sink and WC and a separate WC next to the children’s room as well as a very large sitting room. The room is rather scruffy but many of them have been...

My second stay with Thomas and his family, but this time I was by myself. Other guests were very friendly and obviously were also enjoying their stay. Fabulous food and comfortable room. Loved Linda's cakes, and the hospitality of the whole family. The location is perfect for relaxing, walking and skiing, of course.

We recently started an 8 day cycling trip in St. Michael, following the Mur River to the Slovenian border with Austria. Took a bus from Salzburg to St. Michael, and was picked up at the bus stop by Thomas. That was the beginning of great hospitality we experienced for our one night stay. The room was modest, and had seperate...

We have just returned from another week at this hotel. As usual, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Linda's food is amazing and nothing is too much bother for Thomas who is an excellent host. Great room and a lovely setting. We ate all meals outside on the terrace overlooking the mountains! We're already planning our next trip....
