OK - the good, the bad and the ugly - (the good), excellent tv in the room and very good wi-fi. Excellent tea and coffee facilities. Complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice touch. Clean bedding and towels. The bad - We pulled up to the hotel, and immediately realised that the hotel was tired. Flaky paintwork for example....

We have just returned from a 2 night stay with a Groupon voucher. It was excellent value for money. The room was large, very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need during your stay. Included was, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, hot chocolate and other specialities. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The staff were very helpful, our...

Arranged a spa day for friends to celebrate a birthday. We were made to feel very welcome by beautician Fiona and looked after all day. Very good value - 2 treatments and lunch for £51. Would definitely recommend.

I have been here for lunch previously with my daughter and had such a lovely meal so I decided to take my husband. I tried to make a reservation via the telephone in the morning, however, it just rang and went to an answerphone. As we were passing the hotel, I popped in to see if the restaurant was open...

Booked this for partners birthday. Went with our 5 month old baby boy looking forward to taking him swimming in the pool as a family, only to be told he wasn't allowed in. The small print does say children under 2 are not allowed in the pool. I found this very annoying as booked the hotel on the main point...

Visited for a staff party last week and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food considering the mass catering. Everyone was happy with their meal which was well cooked. There are two rooms and we were in the smaller one which feels more intimate. The large room has rows of long tables which is not appealing. The disco was...
