Staying here in the heart of the village was perfect, our bedroom window always offered something to see. The village of Cong has loads of history and interest for tourists with plenty of daytrippers. Parking is off road at the front of the building. A comfortable looking guest lounge is located off the spacious breakfast room, a pity I only...

Lovely outlook onto River with super walk alongside water and through forest to view Ashford castle.Great to watch the fly-fishing. Martha was a most welcoming hostess with accurate information on local restaurants. good breakfast . River Cong flows very swiftly here and flows into lough Corrib. Lovely area for starting one's drive around Connemarra.

Our family stayed in this lovely B&B for a week in July. Martha the landlady was very welcoming and couldn't have done enough for us. The rooms were spacious and had character. Breakfast was delicious! Whether you want a hearty Irish fry or scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Our family went out with David (the landlord) in his boat to...

Located across the road from the river and fish hatchery this is a quaint little house is within walking distance of several pubs for dinner and the shops of the main street of the village. Its just around the corner from a couple of church ruins and the grounds of Ashord House. Our room was pleasant and adequate and at...

The only reason I did not give this a five star rating is that my room, while very clean and comfortable, was rather small. Also, as the Lodge is on the main road, there is a fairly constant parade of logging trucks. Not a big problem if the windows are closed but I wanted fresh air so the rumble was...

A wonderful setting in our favourite west Ireland village - and Martha the host is a wonderfully and genuinely welcoming host - who will offer you an array of local information - but only if you want it of course!- there is no sense of pressure at all. The lovely fresh cooked breakfast was divine and as a vegetarian I...

Ryan's is a great little B & B that is right across the street from a beautiful river. Our host, Martha was very accommodating to all of our needs and was very helpful getting us reservations for access and drinks at the nearby Ashford Castle. She also makes the best Irish Brown Bread that we had anywhere in Ireland. She...

Lovely peaceful rooms and a contender for best breakfast in Ireland, there is much to like for any visitor but if you are after trout or salmon the owners will surely have the latest knowledge and advice. For the angler, this is heaven.

What a terrific find. First of all, Cong was a really great place, but this B&B was the highlight of visiting the village, and of our 13 day trip. David, besides being our host, was our fishing guide for the day (my wife got me a surprise fishing outing for our anniversary), he was a terrific guide and just generally...

We were traveling south fro Westport and our original B&B booking fell through, so we wandered into Cong and found this great place. Definitely recommend, the owners were very nice and informative and the rooms and breakfast were very nice.
