However short it was, the Ashfield house made us feel very welcomed... fielded our questions, pointed us in the right directions, and catered to our early checkout needs. A wonderful little B&B that sits on lovely landscape and well worth the visit!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ashfield House B&B! Christina was a lovely host, as was her son who greeted us upon our arrival and graciously showed us our room. The room accommodated four people (two adults and two small children) comfortably and had a TV, which was nice for the kids after a long drive. They also have...

We were warmly greeted by our host Christina who had made sure we had all the comforts we needed including some biscuits to have with our cupa. We stayed for two nights and Christina recommended a few places to eat. We throughly enjoyed the quaint village and local people. Our room was great, lovely bathroom and good shower. The bed...

We spent 2 nights here, it's just a short drive of 3kms into Cong village. Christina was a great hostess, always providing tips and helpful advice. The rooms are quite large compared to some of the other places we've stayed, large bathroom with good shower. The cooked breakfast was also very good, would certainly come back again and stay if...

We truly enjoyed our two nights here. Christina was a gracious hostess. Answered my countless questions and even brought out BLACK pepper for me when I really would've been fine with the white pepper but she wanted to make sure our experience was top notch. Also dinner suggestion at the Crow's Nest was spot on as well as her directions...

A great location for a visit to Cong and the Quiet Man museum and village. Even if you were not going to visit Cong the location is perfect as we had travelled down the west coast from Castlebar towards Galway, and this was a nice stopping point in the journey and not too far off the main road. Located on...

We spent a wonderful night at this lovely B & B near the historic village of Cong. Our hostess, Christina, could not have been more helpful and considerate of our needs. The house is surrounded by fields and pastoral views. It is only a short distance to Cong and then on to beautiful Connemara.

This is a great B&B. Christina has some excellent touring advice for us, and it saved us a lot of time. Her home is very clean, warm and welcoming. This was my second time staying here, and the first time for my two daughters. They both loved it, and we all hope to come again.

Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. The Owner was awesome, and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B. The rooms we immaculate and it is very close to the quiet man museum. If I had more time I would have stayed longer. You are missing out if you come to Ireland and do not stay here. I want to thank...

Nicest lady you will ever meet! Our GPS broke, so we had gotten lost and she literally guided us into Cong! Despite our late arrival too she gave us the warmest welcome with some Hot Totties (excuse the spelling). We had the Bedrooms that were separate from the main house, which were wonderfully spacious! Breakfast was delicious, and she was...

“The rooms are all upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, just be aware. The stairs are easy, however, and have a sturdy rail. The shower had a rail which was good. The rooms stay cosy, so you won't need to rug up.”
