This was the last Casa we stayed at in Cuba and it was the second best that we stayed at. Raisa was VERY helpful and the accommodations were wonderful. The shower was one of the best we experienced. We had dinner at the Casa one evening and the fish we ordered was wonderful and not overcooked as much of Cuban...

Raisa Rodriguez is an interesting lady. She is a retired mathematics professor and also an excellent cook. Her spacious, grand old home, which has been in her family for several generations, has soaring ceilings, antique furniture, toys and photos of the family, including grandchildren, grace the main living room. A large central courtyard with beautifully tended plants is a nice...

This casa is in a great location. The room we stayed in has AC, a fan, a private bathroom, towels are provided. The host, Raisa, is very welcoming, and she cooks great food! It was one of the most delicious meals we had in Cuba! The house is beautiful and comfortable. We had no complaints and would highly recommend it....

The hostess of Mi Casita is Raisa Rodriguez and she runs a delightful and elegant casa particulare. The rooms are spacious and, with their very high ceilings, welcomingly cool. The central courtyard is a very nice place to relax, and a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle outside. Raisa makes good, generous and filling evening meals that are excellent...

Great location on the main retail street in the centre of the city! Nice home with high ceilings and a beautiful courtyard - we decided to hang out there with a bottle of wine instead of going out to a bar on our one and only night in Matanzas. The host family was friendly and made accommodations according to our...

We stayed here after an evening arrival at Varadero airport before heading to Havanna the following day. Raisa and her son, Javier, were excellent hosts. Javier speaks English and met us at the airport and had arranged a taxi for us (you need to request this). Dinner was ready soon after we arrived, as arranged, and breakfast was good too....

It is probably the best casa particolar in Matanzas, the city of the bridges. The room is very clean and quiet. Breakfast is excellent, with juice, fresh fruit and bread. The house is located near the historical centre and is close to the main shopping street. The people are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Casita del Medio for three days and enjoyed excellent hospitality, clean rooms, tranquility and very tasty food. The family is very eager to help, speaks english, and the food is exquisite! Matanzas is a "real" cuban town, and Casita del Medio is a perfect place to stay. We will be back!
