First - my husband's wallet went missing. We thought maybe he had lost it. Then when we got home we found out my visa information had been used to buy $2000 worth of online stuff and that they had tried to access information from Transunion to steal my identity. DO NOT GO TO A BREAKFAST. Right after check-in we are... More

We (wife and I) just returned from a week at the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya (Jungle). We flew into CUN and the shuttle was included from the airport, but not on the return trip. Our residence was in a two bedroom with cooking facilities. The Jungle is located away from the beach area with little people traffic, except the road... More

I've been here for the past two weeks and every morning at around 6.30am music blares out across the hotels grounds. The worrying part? This is of their own doing, it's not down to any of the guests. Finally reached my snap point this morning as I was woke to Bruno Mars, could hear every word of the songs. Now... More

URGENT!!! URGENT!!!! URGENT!!!! This place is all about the $ and how much they can get out of our by either spending on the resort or by trying to sell you a timeshare... As one of the sales men put it.... "We just want your money, and we hope you don't come back." This is place that serves as a... More

I loved it. The resort is gorgeous, clean and maintained. It sits on an edge of a jungle. The beach is nice and the only problem is rocky bottom on the shore. The resort makes you feel you are between jungle and on water. There are 4 piers. The food in 4 restaurants is very diverse and tasty, exciting for... More

The Grand Mayan is one of our favorite resorts because it is beautiful, very well maintained, has roomy accommodations, excellent & friendly staff, great water aerobics and is NOT an all-inclusive. A few areas for improvement for the resort: We just wish that there were more shady spots near the pool. Sometimes, the music gets a bit loud near the... More

We had a wonderful visit recently. There was a good variety of restaurants with good quality. We had memorable meals almost every night, but lunches became a little old because of a similar menu. No all inclusive which is a positive. Buffets offer varied selections but a little overpriced. The most outstanding employee on the property was a gentleman who... More

We traveled with four kids ages 2-10 and my Brothers family had kids ages 2 and 4. We had a fantastic week! We traded with Interval International, originally we were given two units in the Grand Mayan Jungle buildings but my brother( who checked in first) had them switched to the Lago buildings -1 and 5. My brother was in... More

This was our second visit for two weeks. Lots of time to get to know the people and amenities. Wonderful wildlife onsite (birds, coati, iguana, etc.). Bring your binox! Special shout-out to certain servers: Victor at the Green Break became a family member serving us 14 breakfasts (got to know our room numbers, hot milk preference, no toast, hot water... More

After a rough check-in (bellboy on his second day didn't know the lay of the land) it turned in to a wonderful week. I will try to talk about some things that I would've liked to known before I got there. The timeshare pitch: I've been on a lot of these and after reading the reviews, I was really not... More
