This apart hotel is lovely. You will not get a view on the sea but apartments are oriented with a view on the courtyard. The receptionist and owner are lovely. Really helpful (went twice the extra mile to help us!) and Bayahibe is a great place for lay-back and enjoy cocktails at a bar being far from the big resorts...

Have stayed here before X4. We returned without prior booking after a dreadful experience at grossly overrated place in town booked for us by our dive shop with glowing accolades (Dive shop should stick to diving) We walked away from that glorified flop house and made our way to Villa Baya. We were greeted warmly even though we spoke little...

This is a nice, quaint little hotel away from the center of town. The center gets rather loud in the evenings as this is where the locals hang out to relax and enjoy loud music. Villa Baya is only a short walk from the town center but much quieter when sleeping. Everything in Bayahibe is within walking distance so it's...

Clean, little space slightly away from the Main Street in tiny Bayahibe. We were here as tourists, not with the usual crowd of divers and tour boats from the all inclusive invaders. The location is perfect. You can watch it all go one from the balcony, but be safely ensconced behind locked gates. For me...the security was an added value....

Everything! The owners and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming; the location was perfect! I have nothing negative to say...it was exactly what we wanted. Laid back, clean and felt like home. I've seen posts complaining about roosters? What roosters? I barely heard them, then again, I enjoy the sound after spending so much time in Jamaica listening to...

I visited Dominican Republic a week ago for my 28th Birthday. After doing tons of research on what part of Dominican Republic I wanted to visit, I decided on Bayahibe. I didn't want to stay in an area that felt like a "tourist trap." I wanted a more authentic experience among the locals while still feeling safe. As soon as...

We vere exited about everything there - first, Bayahibe is a beautiful and very clean small village, so the location is excellent anywhere. Second, the hotel itself is very clean. The standard room we had was small, but got all you need - a wardrobe, a fridge with a freezer, a comfortable bed. Every room has a large terrace, so...

Wonderful staff and always a smile. Clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable as was the sleeper sofa. The kitchen appeared to have all needed equipment but we did not cook in suite. Bathrooms clean and hot water worked well. Close to anywhere in Bayahibe with free secure parking inside the compound. Internet worked well. The only negative were...

Stayed for three nights in this clean and tidy place. Unfortunately got a room on the bottom floor and towards a noisy neighbour. In the mornings indeed the roosters wake you up, but I can't see how that could be fixed. You get complimentary coffee and fruits in the morning. WiFi worked best in the reception but decent in the...
