Alot of german/french people staying here, but this was no problem to us, just the language barrier.. average hotel, buffet food was average, pool area clean. our immediate room on arrival was quite a trek downhill and up some stairs from the pool area and with suitcases in the dark was not acceptable, eventually we moved rooms nearer to the pool...

The resort is nice, and clean. Quite close to a very nice beach. The staff is very friendly and a wide range of activities offered. The only bad point is the food : not always hot, and quite every day the same meals. Not very tasty, and not appropriate for vegetarian like me... The spot is although very nice. The...

We cannot really and fairly review this hotel as we only got to the reception! Even though we made our booking 7th October we have not been allocated a room we have been shipped out to an inferior hotel our room is dark and dingy in need of immediate renovation it can't possibly be four star! The hotel is not...

Don't know where all this negativity comes from. For our 6 night stay we had nothing but nice, friendly, helpful staff, who all spoke plenty of English, as well as German and French and of course Spanish. Hats off to them! Yes the entertainment is in French and there are a lot of French people staying there. There are also...

Bought this holiday in good faith on the Internet with Loveholidays who use Hays travel. The web page did not mention or warn you that the hotel is run by a French company called Marmara. Everything is in French, you need to speak French or you will not understand the staff, the entertainment or announcements. The animation team did speak...

Anbar Beach. A nice place, friendly. Nice people but you need to speak French, this resort is set up for the French. Entertainment is designed around them. The food is your typical mass eating, lots of very similar food stuffs each day, I.e. pasta dishes, chips, meat/fish in sauce. The local drinks provided, beer is weak, the "draught" wine is...

We stayed at Ambar Beach Resort in January for 2 weeks. The setting is very spectacular and the hotel complex itself is on the new side, only 12 years old. The rooms are all pyramid style, you're almost guaranteed a view. We had a balcony with a splendid view of the ocean. The room itself was adequate, not totally deluxe...
