Hard to find in a very dark area of town. Olgar is very friendly and charming BUT: A hard boiled egg and white bread and marmalade are not a good breakfast in my book. We had a twin room with little space to do anything and one bed was a 'pull out' variety. A pretty poor alternative to a hotel...

This was one of the most memorable places we stayed on our trip. The room was comfortable, but that's not really what you go to a homestay for. Olga is a wonderful host, and it was a privilege to meet her and stay with her for a night. The breakfast was delicious, and I was only sad that we had...

Mrs. Olga is fantastic host who takes care of her guests. The location is tricky to find at first time, so make sure you have very detailed info how to find a right house. But once you find it, the location is excellent and Olga's apartment is very spacious and clean. Bathroom is the best we had seen in Russia...

Good hotels in Ulan Ude seemed hard to find, so we had been hoping to stay at Olga's but, initially, it appeared fully booked for our chosen dates. On checking again a little closer to our departure, it looked as though a twin room would be available after all, so we contacted Za Baikalom and all was well. We couldn't...

I stayed here after trekking across Lake Baikal and very much enjoyed my stay. Olga is a warm individual and despite our language barriers she was very patient and we had long chats through the medium of Google Translate. She was very helpful in guiding me around Ulan Ude and provided me with maps and recommendations on places to visit....

Easy walk from the train station, but make sure you have directions. Olga is a charming lady fluent in French (no English), which gives you the chance to practice what you learned in high school. Excellent breakfasts. Nicely decorated and spacious flat. Olga is eager to communicate and interact with her guests and she is a wealth of information. We...

We arrived in Ulan Ude on the early morning train from Ulaan Baatar. Having been in contact with Elena at Zabaikalom I had arranged for a taxi driver to be waiting for us to get off the train and take us straight to Olga's. The journey took 5 minutes at the most. The flat is centrally located (about 5 minutes...

Olga is a very friendly charismatic sort. She speaks no english, is good fun and very helpful. Her apartment is actually a lot more tasteful than it appears on the photographs. Its quiet and in a good location in Ulan-ude, a short walk from the railway station. Its not super cheap. Don't expect her to give you a key and...

We were so glad we chose to stay at Olga’s. Her comfortable flat, just a stone’s throw from the city centre, was all we could have wished for. Olga welcomed us with an excellent breakfast after our arrival from the Beijing train, and we were able to take a shower straight away, even though we arrived at 7.30 in the...

Olga speaks only french, but people of Zabaikalom.com will help you in any case, it's the best agency you'll find and they...
