The Papua Bhuka hotel is on the 1081 near Sila Laeng and just before the southern junction with the 1256 road. The hotel is built into the side of a steep hill and has 2 main buildings. The building at the back in the woods holds the additional rooms while the building at the front is the main building which...

“The 2 Attic rooms were definitely the nicest rooms in the hotel and cost only a little more than the standard rooms. I would rate those rooms as 'good'. Of the standard rooms, ask for rooms at the front of the hotel as they have the best views.”
  • Hotel dining room for breakfast
  • Pleasant views from the front of the hotel
  • Our twin bedded room
  • Rest of our bedroom, bathroom is by the door
  • Fairly limited 'storage space' in the room
  • Small but pleasant bathroom, with a good view
