Excellent five night stay in December. Service was very good even when busy as two public holidays during our stay. Though food was very good too for a buffet with wide choice of dishes and some prepared to order. Beer and house wine were good too. Bakery and cakes were the best I've had on AI basis. The limit on alcoholic drinks was mentioned to us - we were aware of the legal restrictions.
Hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and cost €20 by taxi. Bus route A2 goes from airport and there is a bus stop by the hotel - fare €5 each.
There is also bus route 25 which goes to the city centre and runs every 10 - 15 minutes and takes around 20 minutes. Cost is €2 per journey but we bout a €15 10 journey bus ticket from a machine in the city.
There is plenty to see in Palma and well worth a visit. Cathedral is magnificent and 25 bus stops there and also at the main station where the historic Soller electric railway has a terminus. This is a must for transport fans.

Ok, This is my honest review and I will keep it short. Me my wife and 2 boys stayed at this hotel over the Xmas period for one week. They Hotel its self was very clean. we stayed all inclusive. the food was good however there are no real snacks between breakfast lunch or dinner apart from a sandwich at the bar. Most of the staff are quite helpful and pleasant but there is one or two rude staff members mixed in there which is unfortunate.
The main let down for us was that our room was never cleaned properly and we had to complain at reception in the end as the dirty towels on the floor were hung back up which was just over the line.
I have still gave this hotel a 4 star rating as on the whole we had a good stay and probably would return if the opportunity came up

Spent a week there. It is a really nice hotel, very clean, good food, and above all excellent staff. Everyone is extremely nice, helpful, polite and smiling, be it the waiters, cleaners or receptionists.
The breakfast buffet offers a very large choice. It is pretty much the same every morning, but there is enough stuff to keep you happy.
Dinner is a buffet as well with a large choice of meats, pasta, desserts, etc.
If you don't like places that resemble cruiseships, don't go there, as it is quite crowded, but so is probably every big Iberostar hotel.
It was super easy and cheap to rent a car at reception. However, though they have parking spaces in front of the hotel, we spent 30 minutes looking for a free spot and that was in winter, I cannot imagine how difficult it would be in high season.
The hotel is quite close to the beach (5' walk) and there is a bus stop right next to it that takes you to the city centre of Palma (1.50€) and to the airport (5€). Watch out, for some reason Google calls the bus stop Marbella 36, but it is Balneari 10.
The area was very quiet, but that might be because of the season.
There are a lot of facilities which be didn't have the time to use and thus I can't review them (tennis court, indoor swimming pool, spa).
If you are a light sleeper, be aware that the walls are rather thin. I could hear the snoring and TV of the people next door, however, I don't care, so it did not affect my stay.
Iberostar Cristina is certainly a very nice hotel with exceptionally nice staff and good food.

The hotel had a great deal in January and two of us stayed three nights in a twin room half board.
The hotel is fresh, modern and nicely decorated. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Food was absolutely excellent - breakfast was great and dinner was just fantastic, both in terms of choice and quality - so much better than your average holiday hotel. The staff were also really understanding of gluten free.
The indoor pool was good to have and sitting outside on the large pool terrace was nice in the winter sun.
The immediate area is somewhat closed down in January so there's not much to entertain you in the immediate vicinity - but it's still lovely to stroll the promenade and we had a great walk to C'an Pastilla on a sunny Sunday where there were more places open. Handy for the fast bus into Palma too.

Having not staying in an Iberostar before but had it recommended by friends I was overwhelmingly impressed. I cannot thank the staff enough for making us feel welcome and relaxed. We travelled as a group of 11 with adults and children and it was no problem for the restaurant staff to move and set tables for us for each meal. All the staff seemed genuinely happy to work there and pleased to be looking after guests.
A few members of staff deserve special mention for going the extra mile to make out stay relaxing and enjoyable: Pau, Yolanda, Bambas and Pililu in the restaurants; Tara from the entertainment team and Lorenzo in the bar. The chefs all worked tirelessly in the searing heat but were always smiling and happy that we were enjoying the sumptuous food.
On top of this I had no idea that Iberostar do not use single use plastics anywhere in their hotels and have a strict energy and recycling commitment. Well done - I will certainly be staying in an Iberostar again and would recommend the Cristina Hotel without hesitation. As a last comment - I am generally a poor sleeper and have an expensive mattress and pillow. The sleep I had at Cristina was perhaps the best sleep I have had at any hotel anywhere in the world. Maybe it was the bed, maybe it was the food or the sun, but we had a lovely stay - thank you to all the staff who looked after us.

This is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in so far. The rooms and hotel grounds were spotless and . Staff are friendly and polite even when under pressure to deal with guests. There is constant cleaning and sweeping to clear droplets as people ate during buffet. The downside was, in the culture of recycling, there is no tea making facilities in the rooms or bottled water. You would need to walk to the end of the corridor to use the pitcher to fetch water for your room which I did not like as its does not serve someone which has mobility issues or doesn't want to wake up at night to walk through a long cold and dark corridor. This left me very dehydrated as I wasn't drinking enough water. I missed not being able to make a cup of tea in the evenings when relaxing in my room. If you needed a cup of tea after food hours, you would need to head to the bar to request some. There was also black mould behind the patio door due to damp and no sun in the car park view which I booked. Once I notified reception, they apologised and changed my room straight away which was good. My family and I didnt get a good night sleep as the beds were very bad.
They were not comfortable and definitely not good if you suffer from a bad back. Entertainment for adults was not really exciting for me but may have been for others. Its difficult when your first language isn't Spanish. Another downside, was there were alot of building works and the hotel was situated in a residential area like others near the beach front so there was no privacy and a lot of noise. Dogs barking constantly, Cars and people taking all got too much for me as it was meant to be a relaxing Christmas holiday but was not. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the hotel to visit. Too much noise and no privacy as other housed can see into your room even though there is a curtain, sometimes it good to open is to let light in. But I guess its the culture of Majorca. All the hotels are scrambling for see front so it is over crowded with lots of hotels blocking the sun and you hardly will get any sun except you stroll to the beach. Good this is that the hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport. Over-all I would rate my experience a 7 out of 10.

Nothing to fault very high end 4 star!
We have just returned from our first family holiday with our toddler and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. From the moment we arrived every staff member was so welcoming, polite and couldn’t do enough to help. The rooms are very spacious with a great size balcony and cleaned thoroughly every day. The cleaners work so so hard to make sure the rooms are spotless and are always so happy and polite.
Food is fantastic, we were overwhelmed with choice. We stayed half board so had breakfast and dinner included at the buffet and paid for lunch at the poolside which was amazing quality food much nicer than expected for a poolside bar. A complimentary cocktail was a great touch at the evening meal every night. The beach is within a few minutes walk along with a huge promenade of shops, bars and restaurants so we ate out here a few days/nights.
The pool was very spacious and clean and plenty of sun loungers etc. Fresh pool towels were available daily. Good daily entertainment/games around the pool. Our toddler loved the mini disco in the pool which was usually around 5.30.
A very special thank you to Lorenzo who made our stay so memorable - our toddler loved him and he made sure he said hello to us daily and made sure we were well looked after.
Overall a perfect holiday would recommended to all families/couples :)

Arrived on on early flight with Jet2 with a quick transfer to the hotel. This is where things start to disappoint - unable to get into our room till 3pm. Although we were able to access the restaurant and the cafe bar it still seemed an eternity before we could get into our room. The children were tired but were keen to use the indoor pool as the outside pool was fenced off as was the playground. Reception staff failed to provide details of the hotel facilities and how the all inclusive system worked. Luckily a previous reviewer provided the details so we knew it was only three drinks per adult at lunch and at dinner in the restaurant ONLY!
Snacks were provided in the cafe bar which were very nice however most guests were able to help themselves although not on the all inclusive deal.
Busy meal times at breakfast and dinner but fairly quiet at lunch - guests on the all inclusive package. The food was always well presented and tasty but could have been hotter. Variety of deserts with ice cream, all self service. This was the only time the children were able to have an ice cream. On a couple of occasions it was difficult to get served your drinks and it did feel as though staff were avoiding eye contact so you could place your order.
The room was a good size with two patio doors on to a large patio (family suite) and the bathroom had a large shower with toiletries provided. Towels were of a good standard and replaced daily. Housekeeping did an excellent job with all areas of the room.
Although we have been to other Iberostar hotels where everything was great I do not anticipate returning to this particular hotel.

We regret that your stay did not live up to all your expectations on this occasion and would like to mention as indicated on our website, that check-in is at 15:00 and the Playa de Palma area is under the Balearic law that regulates alcohol consumption in all-inclusive establishments, limiting the number of alcoholic beverages consumed per day. We apologise if this information did not reach you earlier and for any inconvenience caused. Furthermore, our staff are known for their attentive and proactive service and are happy to assist with any enquiries or concerns. This hotel is amazing. We stayed multiple times there already. The food is great, the rooms are really clean, the whole staff is so friendly. Greetings go to the reception team, especially Marga, to the restaurant team, a big thanks to Lorenzo and to the animation team, Kris, Shane, Cyril, Joshua, Monika and Yulia, you all rock!!
Another big thank you goes to the management team, especially Mar.
There are many disinfection stations around the hotel and the staff is cleaning everything the whole time, so we felt very safe of not getting COVID.

We were 2 families staying at the hotel for 7 nights. Initially we had a problem with room types as a family of 5 was split on different levels. However, after speaking with Ainhoa, we managed to get 2 rooms side by side.
Awesome stay with great facilities, vast selection of breakfast buffet options. We did the buffet dinner one evening, however the VEGETARIAN options were minimal, the soup was a watery broth with soggy vegetables, pizza too doughy & cheesy. However the non vegetarians in our party were more than happy with what was on offer.
Great entertainment team that included all guests in what was going on throughout the day.
We enjoyed the aqua fit classes, our kids enjoyed the bingo, batik workshop & the rock party.
I’d say the atmosphere could be improved by just having some music on during the day. The acrobat & rock band were absolutely amazing.
Overall great hotel with helpful staff & energetic entertainment team.

Yes, but in the evening you cannot just help yourself like you would at breakfast and lunch you have to use the waiter/waitresses which can take a bit of a wait
