My wife and I visited this incredible camp during the late part of January. The rock art is certainly interesting but this camp is architecturally magnificent. We seemed to be the only visitors for the two days that we spent in this camp. Unbelievable because this place has so much natural beauty that it screams out. The chalets are beautiful...

Didima is situated in the most beautiful mountainous surroundings. That and the pleasantness of the staff is about all I can say in a positive vein. The infrastructure has been left to decay with little or no maintenance. There appears to be a lack of will to preserve what was once a prestige destination. It is a shame that this...

We spent very good weekends there. It is ideally located for mountain lovers with some hikes all along rivers and waterfalls. The accommodations are a little bit dated but still very confortable and originals. Only bémol: the staff is not always friendly.

This was our second stay at Didima, the first one being in 2014,and we were glad to be back. The view of the Drakensberg is stunning, so the surroundings get a 5 star themselves. Our chalet smelled a bit weird it's true, like mushroom soup, but at least we had a fan for the hot days, and a radiator for...

We are extremely disgusted and disappointed in our recent stay at Didima Camp (from 23 -27 December 2016).We have visited the camp twice before, the last time having been in 2005 and we enjoyed it very much but now the standards have dropped right through the floor. On arrival the staff were lying around on the grass and appeared quite...

The website obscures the fact that there is No pool at the camp site. The reception staff are pathetetic and reflects the 20% maths standard in South Africa. A once beautiful site gone to ruins. The grass is not cut the maintenance is so poor that I would never return. No water in showers ...no hanging space in some showers and...

The park is really awesome, the rooms are very nice ( although could do with a fan, we also had no DSTV ). The restaurant was however terable, food took a long time and when it arrived it wasn't what the menu described and all the good was cold. Some of the rooms have self catering and you can ask...

Our first visit to this camp and Cathedral Peak area. We have been to all other Drakensberg camps. We booked a self-catering chalet. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen could be better equipped (no serving spoons or serving dishes), The Weber braai is great. TV: channel selection is poor, no news channel! Restaurant: we did not realise the self-catering option included...

You cannot ask for a more beautiful setting, surrounded by gorgeous mountains, with views of Cathedral Peak, The Horns, The Bell and more right from your doorstep. The cabins are wonderful, we stayed in the 6 bed unit which was huge! Lots of windows, and thatch roof. Each room had it's own balcony, and there was a comfy lounge (also...
