We stayed just one night before heading into Drakensberg. really good choice, nice rooms, quiet, well managed. We liked all the staff we met and they made a real effort. Food was fine. Doubt if there's a better option near them

With hand-crafted furniture and the true bushveld star roof, we were welcomed. Room was clean and beautiful, and even a little chocolate to say welcome! Even the garden was welcoming, and even the Mountain was there to welcome the morning light. Staff was friendly and warm and the food was to 'die' for. Everything was beautiful and peaceful. Truly a...

We stayed in Lindiwe a most beautiful bedroom with private lounge with all that your heart desires. We had the honour to attend Lala Nathi's 20th Anniversary on Sunday the 5th March 2017, when their staff were honoured and treated to a most wonderful luncheon and long service awards three of whom have been there all of these twenty years...

We stayed at Lala Nathi as a transit stop between Johannesburg and the KZN south coast, after flying into South Africa from the UK. It was a 3 to 4-hour drive from the airport, so a convenient midway break to our journey. Our room in the main building was spacious, clean and comfortable, and we slept very well. There with...

After been driving for 7 hours, reaching La La Nathi during a cool rainy afternoon. What a wonderful lodge. Our room was immaculate, warmly decorated in sleeper wood, white linen, underfloor heating, and my wife enjoyed the bath. Initially we did not want breakfast, but after we had supper, our minds were set on breakfast as well. The food was...

Friendly staff. The service is good love the luxury rooms with spa bath. Perfect overnight stop if you find the Durban to Johannesburg road tiring. Have stayed there many times and have had no complaints.

The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings with lots of trees and water features. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and well appointed. Price wise it is a bit expensive and I feel the tariff should include breakfast. However the meals we had were very tasty and wholesome.

When doing a self-drive trip to South Africa, we only wanted to drive about three hours as we headed to the Durban coastal area. We stopped at this great little find to rest up after a long grueling plane trip. Cute thatched cottages with a great restaurant and pub. Nothing comparable in the town of Harrismith so this is well-recommended.
