We stayed at the Fire Station in Gore and showed up around 7:30 pm to find we had to get a security code from the neighbouring gas station, then pay for the room by slipping money under the closed office door. We totally agree with the 'poor' reference left by the visitor in Oct 2011. We booked a 'private' room 6 months prior to our arrival. When we got there, we followed the instructions on the walls (go to the shop to get the security keypad code and let yourself in - we were told by the woman in the shop...

Made my booking through their website, and they were prompt in their reply. Its located just opposite the I-site, where the Intercity buses stop, so its very convenient. This was one of the more bizarre places I've ever stayed. When I arrived I was greeted only by a sign on the door telling me to go to a local shop (I won't say which one on here) to get the code to enter. The lady in the shop gave me the code without asking questions. A possible security...
