I know its taken me a while to write my review, but after coming back to winter after a nice break in Mawe my withdrawal phase took way longer than expected; but I guess I am better late than never :-) My 6 day girly holiday in Mawe with my best friend was exceptional and I loved it from the...

It was nice, spacious rooms, nice shower, excellent views. Just what you need.amazing Stephano, very helpful. However, they could do more for meals Juices are aren't cold , the coffee and tea not hot,the buffet meal doesn't have much variety, They also close their kitchen during the day and you got to move out to look for somewhere to eat. This place takes my breath away! It is clean and neat. The staff and management are friendly and I love the salt water pool. Perfect for a romantic holiday. Small, quiet and serene. I wouldn't bring my kids here though. It's a romantic getaway, not a children's place. I wouldn't want to disturb other guest... Just note that they charge...

We enjoyed our stay at Mawe. It is a short tuk-tuk ride to town. The location is beautiful - on a cliff overlooking the water. There are stairs leading down to the water, and during low tide you can walk along the shore to the nearby beach. The hotel even provides shoes to do so. The saltwater pool is great....

The hotel is as lovely as the pictures, a real gem. There is plenty of space to find a quiet corner to relax; a perfect place to chill out and unwind. The location is great, with beautiful views over the ocean. You can walk out onto the beach at low tide to explore the coastline. The service is truly exceptional....

Mawe Resort has 16 spacious rooms with all comforts and is run by a young Italian couple and a good staff. Stephan is 24h / 7days available to assist you and other guests with all the needs you have. If you want to go to another restaurant ask him and for a small fee he will bring you there. After...

Mawe is a lovely little hidden place. It is very picturesque with gorgeous decor. The lovely wooden carved doors and the canvas furniture coverings are just some of the little things that add to the ambiance. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed. The cliff top location makes for excellent sunbathing views. The owner organised a dhow trip with snorkelling...

Mawe Resort is a unique place to be. The African theme portrayed in the premises is one of its kind. The place is excellent for those who want privacy. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help where need be..

Mawe is my sort of resort: small, personal, quiet and charming. Everything was good: location, food, service, the spa. Staff is friendly and efficient. Is so good you don't want to get out! I plan to go back and have been recommending ever since.
