The Hyatt Place Princeton was comfortable and clean and located right off the interstate as well as near many excellent dining and shopping spots. We were greeted as we arrived and there was always someone at reception to answer our questions.
Clean, spacious and well designed for couples. Having a sitting area private from sleeping area worked well for us. My husband stays up late reading and left me undisturbed in the sleeping area. Can convenient to everything.
Sink and bathtub were clogged, Elevator were making sounds and a mirror of the security camera was falling apart, time to do maintenances. There were no apples like the other Hyatt place. My welcome bottle of water was not offer, I had to ask for it.
Dirty sheet. Old and not working facilities . Not tasteful breakfast and worst coffee in the world. There is a suspicious spot on the flat sheet, looks like either semen or saliva. The elevator is very old and when it is operating it makes very wired loud noice. The bathroom door in the room even cannot be closed. The taste of breakfast is so so. I had the worst coffee in my life in this hotel.
We attended this hotel after a long day at sesame place. It was a great for the 2 families we traveled with. We appreciated the late check out, extended pool hours and a lot of breakfast choices. Located only 20 mins from sesame place it was a perfect fit for us.
The Hyatt Place was clean but understaffed. Breakfast was minimal. Seemed like most staff were doing several duties. Staff were friendly and helpful. No coffee cups in the room and no coffee at breakfast. They did break out their expresso machine at the bar for those who were aware of it.
We booked the Hyatt Place based on good reviews and because of the extra space and sleeper sofa when traveling with family. We stay in a lot of 2 and 3-star hotels for sports travel and I've never seen anything like this. I don't understand the reviews. The property is run down and unclean. The first room we were assigned smelled so horribly of smoke we asked to be reassigned. The second room had a giant hairball on the side of the bed. Tiles are cracked and carpets are stained throughout. I expect much more from a Hyatt property.
Our families three day stay at this facility was very disappointing and I would not recommend this establishment The continental breakfast each day was not well executed by staff and no one seams to care whatsoever. Breakfast Day # 1 - No bread / bagels at 8AM and no willingness to provide for guests Breakfast Day # 2 - No coffee whatsoever and no bacon / sausage for guests ... staff was indifferent when asked questions Rain one evening during our stay found a way into our room with a constant drip through the ceiling in our 5th floor room.... changed rooms in the late evening and staff did not offer any apology for inconvenience and certainly did not appear surprised to hear of the leaking ceiling ! I doubt anyone at this hotel would care to correct any of these operational issues as general attitude was one of apathy Best of Luck if you choose to stay at this facility as I hope your experience was better that what our family felt.…
There was no hot water in the room and they had me walk with all my luggage and a toddler to get a room key in the lobby, and go to another floor to find out that's a smelly room. No staff offers any help during the process. The rooms haven't been renovated for a while. I like staying at Hyatt Place where they usually have nice staff and a good breakfast. This is the worst experience I ever had with Hyatt Place.
The hotel was fine for a place to sleep - room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, for the service and the breakfast, it was NOT worth the price I paid. The front desk was empty during the evening for long periods of time with no way to contact any staff both nights I stayed (7/1-7/2). I had to search for 15 minutes Saturday night to find a custodian to let them know I needed toilet paper and there was a line of people waiting to be checked in. The custodian was very helpful once found (on duty 7/2) but the manager was absent. The breakfast was okay (the waffles were good, but the eggs weren't great and there wasn't even cream cheese for the bagels). Also ANY ONE ALLERGIC TO NUTS SHOULD AVOID BECAUSE OF POSTED WARNINGS OF CROSS-CONTAMINATION.
