All the rooms were advertised as non-smoking,yet the entire facility smelled like an abandoned smoke house. Hoteltonight app and Clarion should be ashamed of themselves for charging such an exorbitant rate for the worst hotel in NJ. The first room I was assigned was dirty so I requested for another, but the second room was no better that the first. The entire facility stunk and looked like it had never been vacuumed since the hotel was built. There were no security anywhere, anyone can access the hotel through any of its entrances without a key card.Including through the main entrance, since the guy on duty was always watching episodes when he wasn't dead asleep. The room rate should be priced at $40 instead of $90 per night. still, I won't recommend it for a homeless person who cares about his/her security. And I will definitely not stay here or any other clarion hotels ever, even if the stay was free.…

I should’ve known that $100 hotel room would be terrible, but this was really bad. Go to the hotel and the smoke alarm was beeping due to a bad battery. I was able to get another battery from the front desk and fix it myself. That kind of stuff happens. Then I went back to the room and noticed there was not a single towel washcloth or hand towel. Another trip to the front desk. When I got back to the room I noticed there was a significant leak under the vanity that was making the carpet wet. That’s pretty gross but it was also 1230 at night so we just dealt with it. Woke up this morning and somebody hit my car in the parking lot, no note, no message nobody at the front desk. Call to file a police report and they indicated that it had been filed and they had tried to reach me the night before. We heard nobody at our door. This place is dirty, run down and nobody’s maintaining anything. Avoid at all costs.…

Disgusting place there is a walk thru with soda and vending machines smell like sewar, our room look didn't work when we finally got in smelled like a smoking lounge ,switched room Next room floor was dirty ,a refrigerator that was a block of ice, and falling out of cabinet, smoke detector was missing with live wires sticking out, The front desk he was nice and was ok,sleeping in car would have been better

I stayed at this hotels chain again during a quick trip to Princeton University. This was based on my last trips to Martha’s Vineyard in which I found the Choice properties to be clean and enjoyable. I was to put it frankly, shock at the condition of this property. I found mold in the hallways and my room, along with ripped carpet and an over film of dirt, spots, insect and rodent matter on all items to include the carpet and microwave. Then in the morning on my departure, I found a roach running across the room floor. Yes, there is a free breakfast but I did not eat here for above reasons. The plus side is it is next to a strip mall which has a Whole food and various other stores. There is a nice diner a short walk for a great clean breakfast.

Pulling in to this place you start to understand why it is so much lower-priced than everything else around here. You get what you pay for once again. First, you cannot go by the official photos. I guess you kind of expect that to an extent, but this was a bit more overdone than I was prepared for. I did NOT check here or other sites for user photos, so that is my mistake. Most everything in the place is dated, and many things are worn out and tired. This is NOT a hotel, and barely an inn. It's a motel, and it's seen better days. Squeaky doors, bleach over mildew smell, tiles popping, holes in various walls and ceilings - and definitely some very old and overdue furniture. This is the place you expect to be loaded with couples using it for an afternoon affair. We had a three-day reservation and checked out 15 min after checking in. Forfeited the first night charges, but we just had to go. I regret the attempt to stay here, and this review is for those who think as I did, "Oh it's just a simple Comfort-Inn style place with no frills - I just need a good bed and for it to be clean." It's not any of that. That being said, the location is great. Best of luck and buyer beware.…

All outward appearances of this hotel are not bad however our stay there was another story. Check in was easy, walked up some very dirty and soiled to the point of being black carpeted steps to our room. Door looked as though someone had tried kicking it in. Room was very basic but dated and old. Couch cushion was ripped and the air conditioner was high up on the wall, when the fan was running big blobs of black dirt were flying onto the bed. Shower had cracked tiles and looked like it had not been updated since the 70's. This hotel is in deep need of a complete renovation. Walking distance to a diner and some shops were a plus but overall I would not stay here again nor recommend this hotel!

The staff was OK at check-in - not very friendly. The room seemed clean, but needs updated. The grounds had some trash scattered about that needed cleaned up. Breakfast was both cold foods and hot foods.

I'll start with the fact that there is front seat of a van sitting in their entry way. From there it got worse - they room smelled of mold, the couch in the room was torn, and I don't think that the space in their corridor between the stairwell and the wall is within code. I can't imagine two people fitting through the space in event of an emergency.

Was not pleased with the accommodations. Had to be moved because tv didn't work. Room and hotel is old and needs renovation. Maintenance staff that evening was great. Other staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Restaurant is Indian, which is fine but not as advertised on website. Very disappointed. Breakfast was standard fare. Road is very busy for walking to many places.
