I believe it is one of the best long stay hotels in the region, especially next to Princeton area. For family, the two bedroom suite is the best. Ideally it can accommodate up to 6 people with all amenities. The breakfast is just OK
Hotel was very clean and convenient to the Princeton area. These were on the smaller side for residence inn one bedroom rooms I have stayed in and the pool was closed for renovation. I was traveling with small kids, so the pool being closed was disappointing and there were no options to use another pool facility close by.
We were booked at this hotel over Xmas break. We both got COVID prior to the trip. The hotel refused to refund us or give us credit for future use, despite us providing documentation. Poor reward for loyal customers.
Quiet and conveniently located. Typical mid-level hotel breakfast buffet. They charged us almost double for the room for graduation weekend, but places will do that. Staff had no answers for graduation-related questions but probably hadn't been there for previous graduations. Room short on utensils, etc. On the whole only a little less than we'd have hoped for. (We wanted a quiet place where windows would open, and, just as we'd been told, they did, a crack, enough to air the place out.) Very forgettable.
Hi, Wife and I went to visit her old college. Residence inn was a highlight. Excellent customer service, clean, comfy room with light blocking shades resulted in great sleep. Building and facilities were solid. Breakfast was perfectly good for a residence inn. Thank you team.
Our family recently had a very nice one night stay. We SNA'd our way from a 1BR to a 2BR suite and the extra space was very much appreciated. Our suite had a gas fireplace, 2 TVs, 2 beds plus a sofabed, one desk, and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is ample and comes equipped with cookware, dishware, silverware, and mugs/glasses as well as supplies for a day of coffee. We like that the sinks of the ensuite bathrooms are adjacent allowing one person to shower and the other to prep at the same time - YMMV. The breakfast had egg, cheese, and bacon sandwiches as the 'hot' choice along with a variety of yogurts, fruits, cereals, and pastries. And of course plenty of coffee, milk, and juice. All in all, a great place for our family's overnight stay in Princeton.
They have a policy whereby rooms are cleaned every 5 days unless requested. We stayed 3 nights our room was a mess. We had to beg them to vacuum on the second day. They don’t leave supplies for you to clean yourself either. Room felt dirty and dusty. Breakfast is offered but you would find better at a gas station. They basically don’t give a s.
My experience with Residence Inns has been from long-term stays while on business. I was pleased that this hotel allowed for one night stays. I stayed at this property due to it's convenient location to the Trenton Airport as the three hotels adjacent to airport property were totally booked. It was an easy drive to the airport. I found the hotel very comfortable and welcoming and the front desk clerk, Claudia, was so extremely helpful. The next time I am travelling and need to use the Trenton airport I will stay here rather than the ones at the airport (I have stayed in all of them). Thank you for a positive experience for a weary traveler.
We were having some work done at our house. Needed to leave for a few days. Grabbed a hotel in Princeton. They did their best considering Covid. Thx for that. However, there were a few things that didn’t relate to a pandemic. Toilets didn’t work properly. Doors didn’t open properly with new keys. Knobs missing from gas fireplace. I could go on. Would have rated it 1 star...but these are weird times. People were calm & friendly.
We had a large family gathering for a wedding nearby and we virtually took over the hotel. The lobby/breakfast area served as an ideal gathering place and hospitality area. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and provide full kitchens, great for families with children. The staff were friendly, we only had one glitch and that was with having the room serviced. By the time we realized our room hadn't been serviced the service crew had left for the day.
