The food in this hotel is good and its Thali is quite famous @ 570 per person, plus tax. Breakfast is reasonably OK, food is generally tasty, but despite having a good amount of staff during breakfast, everyone seems busy. I have not seen any body with smiling face in this hotel, whether it is at front desk, lobby, restaurant or room service, each employee looks in a state of pressure. Two person impressed me, first one at restaurant Mr Samadhan (waiter), another one at lobby Mr Imran. One more thing please do not expect very small article in room like body lotion even on request. This hotel does not have a gym.

This is my 2nd year when I stayed at Hotel Tip Top Plaza. Both the times, I had a great experience. I have no words to express how candid and helpful the whole staff was. Let me start with the names of the associates who made my stay at Hotel Tip Top Plaza very pleasant. Ajay and his team members at the front desk were very helpful and attentive. During this stay (July-2024), I was unable to book the hotel on my day of arrival in Mumbai but Ajay and his colleagues stayed in touch with me until I got the room to stay at the same location. Since I am a hedge fund manager and was staying close to my family, I needed an extra table to accommodate multiple monitors in my room. So that I could trade during the US Market hours. I hate myself for not remembering the name of the front desk associate who was even more helpful to me last year (June-July 2023). He arranged the table in less than an hour on my request. I do know that if I would made this kind of request in any other hotel, it would have been turned down but not at Hotel Tip Top Plaza. I can’t thank enough for the staff members for taking care of their clients and especially when it is not necessary to complete every client request(s). Now let me start with Mr. Naren who looks over dining and always very attentive to every client request and needs during early morning breakfast. I still remember the “Misal-Paav” that I had during my stay in June-July 2023. I have noticed that Mr. Naren pays attention to every customer that walks into the breakfast room and have an eye for details and customer needs. The cleaning staff at the hotel is very courteous and their manager always have a good smile on his face while directing his staff members. Finally, I would like to mention Mr. Chetan Bhanushali. I have stayed at finest hotels from Las Vegas to Paris to London to New York. You name it and I have been there but I have never seen a gentleman hotel manager with an “ever” smiling face who is attentive to client requests and needs. I have seen Mr. Chatan on the hotel floor for more than 12+ hours and working very hard with a smile to make sure that the place is running very well. He is a gem of person with high work ethics. His passion for the work is contagious and no wonder that all front desk managers/associates do their job excellently under Mr. Chatan’s leadership. All kudos to him for his work ethics. I look forward to my next stay at Hotel Tip Top Plaza next year during late-June 2025.

Hotel Tip Top Plaza Thane is no doubt the best place for celebrating all our occasions. The Team is warm and approachable. They answered all our queries with details and this left no doubts and we instantly booked them for my daughter’s birthday party.
Mr. Amit Shah, thank you for so much for lovely experience. Your unique style of interacting left us with feeling at home was no doubt the winning experience. Everything was so well coordinated and arranged by you and your team that we are amazed.
From Decor, Host, DJ & Various Artists to Food including, starters, welcome drinks and dinner spread was very delicious. Entire event was superbly managed and properly coordinated.
We are really thankful to you guys. We are happy that we selected the venue and we will also definitely recommend the place to our friends.

I have stayed at this hotel couple of times, my room tariff includes meal added plan . Dinner and breakfast was disaster. ( for dinner they gave packed thali)
All staff are rude and careless. Rooms and corridor were old enough and they stink
I was paying 5000 rupees plus taxes, hotel is not worth paying the price for it.
Last day of check-out , I have requested reception staff for 1 hour extension because flight was in the evening . Team said they will charge half day for 1 hour extension. ( we are the corporate customer)
I don’t wish to continue and recommend not to stay

I had booked rooms for accommodating my guests in April 2024 who had come to attend my son's engagement. The room and service were fantastic. Special mention of Mr Ajay who provided end to end assistance to my guests. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Ajay for higher responsibilities.

My team were really pleased with our stay at the Top Plaza (Thane) as it is a very nice hotel with all the facilities needed. It is ideally situated for visiting the Kanheri hills. as it is just round the corner from the railway station and also 45 min journey from Mumbai airport and the hop on/off on busses. The staff are very good, especially the Reservation staff "#Punam" and Reception staff who were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my six night stay, the service at the restaurant was fantastic. I would recommend to taste Grand Thali in dinner, I would book this hotel again without hesitation and also recommend to my other Team members. One thing I would suggest to improve the Verity in Breakfast. Like type of juice and different type of breads.
