No covid protocol even by kitchen staff. Serving food with bare hands in most unhygienic conditions. No hot water geyser. NO WI FI. They have non working air conditioners . At night only two stray dogs for security. Whole area is prone to intruders and wind animals. No mosquito net to save from mosquitoes. No room kettle for coffee or tea. Oily and spicy food. Service staff knock your door any time to ask silly questions. No refrigerator. humid and hot weather. Isolated place
We spent 13/12/2021 to 16/12/2021 at Jungle resort. We had originally planned to stay for 3 nights. But we extended our stay by a day, after experiencing the first couple of days. Positives: [1] Hospitality: Absolute top-notch. I am deliberately not mentioning any particular name here. Each member of the team was great. I wonder how Jungle Resort, in such a remote area could gather such a team of professionals! Perhaps the secret lies in a company operating philosophy. Thanks to each one of you, team. [2] Cleanliness: The room, the walkways, the dining space; everything was spic and span. [3] Food: This may be a subjective issue, but we liked the food very much. Honest healthy food. Careful on the spices. And above all, large spread of options to chose from. The ‘ Jungle Resort’ special soup was great, a ‘must try’! Negatives: Only one. Some method needs to be found for disposing off the kitchen waste. Right now it is apparently being dumped along the path running behind the resort. Spoils the mood somewhat. [Visitors need to contribute in this area too. Despite waste bins being placed at many locations, I noticed large number of plastic bottles and stuff being chucked by visitors anywhere. This is irresponsible behaviour] The drive from Kasara to the resort is great. Good road and views. So are 15/20 Kms drive to the east and west from Khodala. The last 8 kms of road from Khodala to Vaitarna dam is badly pitted. If you are looking for a place to spend a few days in peace, quiet and comfort, this is a great option.…
Its a bit remote, but if you want to experience nature, this is the place to be. Excellent location, clean rooms, super friendly staff and good food. Good place for family and friends! Treaking the mountain for sunset view was good. Night Safari experience was also great (though we couldn't see any wild animals, the ride itself was adventurous).
If you wanna enjoy pure nature, just go here.Mountain view Room was so well Maintained with all surrondings & hygiene & yummy home style food. Mr Manjunathji, Prakash & Mano were so helpful for all your needs while we were there. Swimming pool was closed but other activities were open n worth doing.
This was a memorable experience for us six family members. Great ambience, hygiene, good food and courteous staff. Manjunath ji, Amit, Prakash of special mention. Excellent property Mr.Kher. We must experience the night safari however. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation. Rajgopal
It was a wonderful experience staying in this resort, covered with mountain ranges and the tribal areas. I and my family wanted to relax and unlock ourselves from the pandemic lockdown, since March 2020. We thought of visiting this place to get a different experience of staying between the jungle and tribal areas of Khodala village. It's a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family and friends. We sincerely thank Dr. Jitendra Kher, the Owner of this resort, Mr. Manjunath, the Resort Manager, and the entire staff of Wild Camp - The Nature Resort, for making our stay a memorable one. We loved this place and would definitely recommend that all should visit this place at least once.
A beautiful scenic place worth a visit. Rooms are spacious & the food is mouthwatering. Night Safari & Camp Fire is the best. Best place to spend quality time with family & friends. The Resort Manager Mr. Manjunath & the staff members are very polite & helpful. Would definitely recommend others.😎 Also do checkout the pool & the game section to have fun evenings with family & friends. Will definitely visit again.❤️
It was a really memorable family trip. We were a group of 10 persons including children and senior citizens. Everyone enjoyed the trip including the location, facilities, service and food. Keep up the good service team Wild Camp.
We chose this place because we wanted to get away from mainstream locations, and what a decision that was! The route from Wada to Khodala was mesmerizing to say the very least. Wild Camp Resort is exactly what it stands for: getting away from civilization and unwinding. The Mountain View Cottage we booked was great - minimalistic, but comfortable. But the best part of our stay here was the hospitality. The manager, Mr Manjunath, entertained us with his stories and experiences. And of course, Mr Prakash, whose warmth is something we'll remember. We've resolved to return here again in the monsoon, when the place would be even more beautiful. Will recommend. 10/10
Its a very lovely place to visit with family and friends.. staff is very polite and helpful.. night safari ride is fun and if lucky you can get to see some wild animals.. here you can relax and forget about outside world wories
