Lobby was grand and spacious. Room was not a bad size but the toilet layout leaves one wondering. I found our room too dark and called for someone to change the light bulbs. After a while a man came but he could only speak Malay which was a problem for us. He mumbled something, spoke to someone else, then disappeared...

It is previously known as Highlands Hotel and now it is Maxims. I am having a very high expectation to this hotel but my real experience was disappointed. I am staying there a night in May 2014 and was given an ordinary room. There were not much changes. Room and its amenities are run down. Not worth to spend money...

As a little kid, my parents always brought us to Genting during school holiday, in my memories, Genting was a fun place to be. Well it's been years since i stepped my foot on Genting until recently and i was disappointed with the hotel that we were staying in. My parents were staying in Grand Genting and we were staying...

It's been years since I last visited Genting, and I don't understand why they called this Maxims now when I remember during those days, Maxims was so high-class to me. This hotel is just, okay. Standard room, standard service, standard cleanliness, perhaps the only thing I still like about this hotel is their lobby. That's all.

Compared to First World, Resort or Theme Park yes Maxims is much better, but this hotel is aged (although they claimed refurbished recently). Cleanliness is acceptable but the smoke smell is extremely strong. Can't complaint much unless you opt for Genting Grand the next round.

The hotel is one of the best u can get in Genting Highlands. it is renovated not a very long time back, so everything is pretty neat and in order. There is a Starbucks Coffee at the entrance, crossing that u would find yourself in a big lobby with good decor to soothe ur eyes.. the check in process doesn't...

We stayed at this hotel last year after absenting from it for a number of years. The hotel then was already bad enough, stained carpet, mouldy bathroom and not even having a coffee table . Tried again last and was NOT given a refurbished one. Still the same old, dirty, smelly room. Very very disappoined ! Swear will never go...

This is one of the 5 star hotels in Genting Highland. Check In: Lobby is grand and crowded but just took 10 minutes for the entire check in process. There are starbuck next to the lobby and VIP casino just a level up from the hotel lobby. Room: Spacious and newly renovated, fully carpeted. No air conditioning but with ceiling...
