Well this was interesting. We fly into Palermo as the flights were a good price from the U.K. The aim was to spend 1-2 nights in various locations. i.e. Palermo, Marsala Agrigento Syracuse Noto Catania and so on.. A good tour of Sicily. But rather than dragging a case in and out of hotels I thought being central was a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, we had 2 of the huts for a family of 4. The huts were very comfortable. The location, about 1km from the centre of Nocolosi is excellent with views of mount Edna at the back and the coast from the front. We had the pool to ourselves, there's an option to play tennis. We... More

Wooden cabins at back of property with A/C enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Hosts very very accommodating and gave us good local knowledge. You will need a car to experience some of the best eating places in Sicily. Will be back

I booked this in the last minute and didn't expect much, as the photos on booking.com didn't look fantastic. BUT it turned out to be a wonderful place, very well kept and clean. The owner spoke a perfect English and was very informative. We stayed in the cottages behind the main building and they were awesome with nice decor and... More

The accommodation is beautifully situated, clean and well equipped, but top marks go to the owner Mimo and his wife who were fantastic- helpful, informative and the best possible hosts. I would have no hesitation in recommending Etna Hut to anyone planning a visit to the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July whilst visiting Mount Etna, and found it to be the perfect place to relax in a quiet environment. The whole property is very well kept, we stayed in the cabins in the garden which were very cosy and comfortable, we didn't really want to leave. Breakfast was very good with plenty of... More

The hotel has a personal touch with a very attentive host who will do everything he can to make you feel welcome. Etna rumbled in the background which was cool, the pool was uncrowded and the views excellent. Spent one day on Etna which is only a 20 minute drive away and then went up the coast to look at... We visited earlier this week. We were very impressed with Mimo and his wife's hospitality. They provided an excellent service for the B&B part but were always available for advice and helped us shape our itineraries. Their trip around Nicolosi, visiting cheese farm, honey farm, olive oil production site, wine tasting, pastry manufacturer in one morning was a great experience... More

We were guided to an interior room dug in the hillside. There was no natural light, only a narrow horizontal window, near the ceiling of the room (you had a long pole to use the window), that opened to a vertical shaft, where external air-condition unit was located. In case of a fire in the corridor outside the room, we... More
