We stayed in a standard double for 2 nights. Even though it was only £80 per night, it wasn't value for money. Our room was very dark and oppressive. The bed had sheets and duvet cover that didn't fit the bed. The room was so small we kept tripping over things, the bath ran dirty water, which then left a...

liked the swimming/sauna and steam room although both jacuzzis freezing cold. Meals at night were basic in the lounge bar but breakfast was cold and served on a cold plate. Room was fine although needing updated. Stayed 1 night and that was enough. Charged £90 for BB for 2.

We had our wedding here last July. The venue is just beautiful, the surrounding gardens and walks are absolutely stunning. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was amazing too. All in all a fantastic day and the venue is gorgeous. Can't recommend it highly enough

Myself and my husband visited the spa on 22nd June and had a lovely time. The lady on reception was very helpful and showed us round and explained what there was to do. We went in the gym, played tennis and used the facilities, my only negative was that the hot tub was cold so we didn't use it. The...

I enjoyed a relaxing weekend spa break with a friend. The setting a general facilities are good, but l was very disappointed with the bathroom where dirty water came out the bath taps and the electric shower was very dangerous alternating from red hot water to ice cold, and back to red hot in seconds. I waited 15 minutes for...

Stayed at the Chevin for one night, and was accommodated in one of the rooms situated in the wooden chalets in the wood. The room was small, with terrible dim lighting, but non the less well equipped with tea, coffee, and biscuits. Also an iron and ironing board. The room and bathroom were clean. Unfortunately, on business without a car...

My partner and I had decided to have a night away and as we had some vouchers decided to stay here, it was also a chance for us to see the place, as we are considering wedding venues.. Worst nights sleep ever. The restaurant and bar staff were very nice and friendly but felt the reception team didn't care in...

I returned here for the third time with a friend. The hotel is set in large wooded grounds and is delightful for a relaxing break. On previous visits there have been four of us and we have stayed in a lodge so this was a slightly different experience. The room was large but we were disappointed that there was no...

My husband, pup and I are just back from a five night break at this hotel, we had a superb time, staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Dinner was excellent and breakfast. We had a cabin, perfect for the dog, open the door and right out into the woods, dog had a great time. Dogs were allowed...
