Our visits to the French Pyrenees usually involve a circuitous route via the region of Aragon in Northern Spain. At times, we stay in a Paradore (this year in Vielha) but decided to book two nights in Hotel Bielsa rather than the nearby Paradore. We enjoyed our stay - and we particularly enjoyed the lower amount of the hotel bill....

The largest hotel we stayed at during our month in the Pyrenees...meals were served with machine like efficiency, water, bread, wine plunked down on the table almost before we were seated. Dishes were whisked away just as the fork speared the last morsel. Cafeteria like dining atmosphere and breakfast coffee, ufff, Nescafe from an urn. Ah well, the price was...

I had several meals there this July (camping locally) and it is quite wonderful. Firstly, the staff/management are both professional and friendly, (even more so if you speak Spanish - most of them do speak English but of course they are more likely to chat in Spanish!). Secondly, as a vegetarian, veggie food is extremely hard to find in rural...

This hotel did not disappoint. Rated as 4 star and worth that. Pre visit e mails were dealt with efficiently and quickly. Rooms were lovely and food excellent - great value all round. Location is perfect for exploring the Odessa Park. Staff very friendly and helpful - just wish our Spanish was better!

We stayed a few days close to Ordesa National Park. Few kilometers to the park. Located at a walking distance to Bielsa Village, the hotel is renovating all the rooms. We stayed in a new, spacious one, with a big bathroom. The only not-so-good was the breakfast.

I don't normally submit reviews, but the staff were so friendly, especially the Senora in charge, who saw that I wanted to try out my beginner Spanish and worked so hard every day to have a conversation, and to accommodate my vegetarianism (which they did brilliantly, even if they thought I had the stomach capacity of a whale!). The rooms...

I stayed with a group of 16 for three days. It's a great hotel, warm welcome from the staff; rooms very good; nice views to the mountains; we had a half board package; drinks at dinner include water and wine; generous portions with a choice of 6 starters/mains/puddings. Good breakfast and all round very good value. The staff could not...

A modern hotel set back slightly from the "main" road to France; the Bielsa/Aragnouet tunnel is a relatively minor crossing to France and the road is not busy, so traffic noise is no problem. Rooms are spacious and well laid out, with adequate storage and good bathroom. We had no problem with noise from other rooms, but as others have...

After a intensive day, full of attractions, happy and tired we came to hotel. Hotel made good impression at first sight. But level of our happiness grow up when we tasted a dinner. Delicious. Kind and very helpful staff. Good place as starting point for regional trips. To France as well.
