We were a big group of friends visiting for 3 days. The villa was clean, with good open spaces and entertainment. There's a Pool table and board games available. the major highlight of the stay was a staff. Always happy to serve whatever we wanted and always going above and beyond. From late dinners to snacks to local delicacies, they never said no and always tried their best to indulge us. You won't get service like this in many 5 star hotels. Already have this place marked for my next family trip.
An excellent stay for one night There was nothing to complain, only to praise from staff to owner and food and ambience, everything was perfect. Personal involvement of owner was a new and refreshing experience for our family. These things make long Lasting impression
Ramgarh retreat is a beautiful and meticulous house, where someone has taken real pains to keep things warm. Located in picturesque Ramgarh, the views from Villa are breath taking. We stayed here from 2nd to 7th July and thoroughly enjoyed the floating clouds amidst hills. The two gardens are well maintained and lovely flowers can be see everywhere. Even the rooms are relatively big with all the comforts imagined in a luxury hotel. Such facilities in hills is rarely seen. The food is simple and the cook Lalit prepares according to one's taste. The caretaker Vikram goes extra miles for guests. The owner Aditi was really helpful on phone. We will love to visit the place again.(the only unfortunate thing was there was some construction going on in the property at the time of our stay, which disturbed the peace of the place. Hence it was difficult to sit outside during daytime.) Considering the rest, it is one of the best properties to be visited in hills.…
The Ramgarh Retreat is a beautiful property nesting over Dak Bungalow Road, facing sceneric beauty of lush green valley and mountain view with clouds blowing into your face. The rooms are tastefully designed with ethnic furniture, paintings, and at the same equipped with all modern amenities, beautiful dining room and living area on each floor, and an awesome library for those who love to enjoy reading in the middle of nature. The lawn and garden is so beautiful designed and maintained surrounded by thousands of beautiful flowers to breath in fresh air and aromatic breath. Perfect place to stay with family. The property owner and the hospitality team are awesome and keep you on hands. Must compliment the Chef for delicious cuisine and especially meeting all demands of children even at odd hours. 7-Stars to the Property & Wonderful Team!…
We had some work in Sitla which is an hour's drive from Ramgarh and we chanced upon The Ramgarh Retreat when we were directed there by someone we knew. It turned out to a good decision since the old world hospitality combined with excellent services made it a memorable stay. The property is well laid out with a three storied building that has a beautiful garden overlooking the hills and the valley below. Each floor has a living area that is tastefully furnished with a TV for those who wish to watch programs. The room that we stayed in was on the ground floor overlooking the lawns yet giving us a good view of the hills. The rate is inclusive of breakfast and dinner, served in the hall on the ground floor. Being well traveled in the hills I can vouch for the fact that the food was the best that we have ever tasted in the hills. Mrs and Mr Sahdev, the owners who were present at the time, were most hospitable and eager to please their guests. We had the pleasure of dining with them at breakfast which was specially served outdoors for all guests. There was a nip in the air and we were able to enjoy the sunny weather while eating the delicious food. The large variety on offer was complimented by the specially prepared in-house marmalade, chutneys and masalas, all mouth watering and tasty. We were lucky to taste authentic Italian pizza that was brought in from their bakery outlet in Delhi. The staff were prompt and polite and met all our requests efficiently. Although we stay at different places, this is one holiday that we would be glad to repeat in the future by staying the same place.…

The place is amazing. Food is delicious and above all homely. But the best part is their staff; very humble, hospitable and hard working. Very nice property with great views in and around it. Would love to visit again.
We have just returned from a couple of heavenly days at The Ramgarh Retreat. We had gone with friends and had zeroed down on the property based in a friend's strong recommendation and TripAdvisor reviews. With eight rooms there won't be any crowds. We had requested for and were given rooms with a Himalaya view. One on the first and two on the second floor. Huge rooms with bay windows. Comfortable beds and chairs. Ample storage space. Clean sheets and towels. The staff is polite and helpful without being in your face. The food was good. Simple home cooked kind. Beautiful lawns and flowerbeds and flowers. We were told that bonfires could be organised on payment. We also saw a few board games which would interested the young. Lots of sitting areas. I would say a great place to holiday …
This retreat in Ramgarh is one the best I have stayed. I was given the himalayan view room and the view from that room was just mesmerizing. Their lawn is just ideal place to sit in afternoon and evening. For peace lovers, you wouldnt want to go anywhere fro roaming nearby places. The staff was very courteous and the food tasted just like the home food. Their new Alfresco (pizza place) just caught my eyes in the evening with lights switched on. The retreat is very well maintained with flowers blossoming all over the lawn. I would like the thank the owner and the staff for such great hospitality.
