The location is excellent, just 2-3 minutes from the mall road, and the hotel has a pick and drop service which is very convenient. The rooms are beautifully done up and quite spacious. The food is quite good and the property itself is very peaceful and tastefully done. the kids rooms is a little small, but kids will love running around in the lawns. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

It was my first visit to Nainital and i was awestruck by its raw and scenic beauty. Staying in Ashdale added to this experience. Having lived in an ancestral property when growing up, i know its not easy to not only rev up the property but to maintain it as well but Ashdale makes that impossible possible. It is a beautiful property and staying there felt relaxing and good. Its surrounding location is peaceful and a walk through the High Court premise felt so picturesque. One has to stay here to experience its beauty - words alone cannot describe it.
The staff efforts are sincere and enthusiastic. I personally called the hotel to book a room and Kamal, Vijay and Avtaar Singh ensured it was smooth.
Food part needs a lot of improvement. The menu had static and standard items, only their price matched a 5 star hotel :)
The hotel also perhaps needs a lift as the senior folks who have chosen the 2nd floor rooms (the lesser priced ones) may not be able to use the stairs as often. But that said, the Nainital landscape itself requires people to be physically fit...

We stayed at the Ashdale for an extended duration. Located just 2km away from the unholy mess that is Mall Road, this property provides an oasis of calm (if you are looking to be surrounded by swarms of people, restaurant options, and stores, this is not a good choice for you.)
The rooms are comfortable and elegant, and the grounds are pretty and well-maintained. Staff was at all times courteous and unfailingly went out of their way to be helpful. From calling us cabs at short notice to helping us with printouts and information, we found reliable assistance whenever we needed it. Minor problems, if any, were resolved quickly. A special shoutout to Kamal, who was managing the property for a period of time while we were there.
Food was sometimes a bit hit and miss, but full marks to the chef and kitchen staff for effort. The continental chef, especially, went several extra miles to ensure that we got a variety of well-prepared dishes (the 12" pizzas far exceeded expectations, as did the chicken roulade.)
A big thank you to the team for making our lengthy stay feel like a home away from home.

We visited this during June month on the eve of our anniversary. This hotel reminds one of old British culture and heritage but in properly renovated way. Before getting our hotel bookings done, we were quite apprehensive about this property due to negative online reviews but after visiting the property all are apprehensions took a backseat, we were welcomed by rich hotel culture and an amazing hospitality.( as expected by 4 starrer) There are certain aspects which can be improved which are arrangement of special services for one’s big day and also taste of food. As we asked if they can arrange for room decor which was not possible and also bouquet they arranged was too expensive but still not fresh. Not to forget,They have amazing live singers who entertain you during dinner. On our request they arranged bonfire too.🔥 It’s the best property to stay at. Will make sure to stay at the same hotel on our next visit to Nainital :) Cheers to you guys 🥂

We loved the Welcome Heritage Ashdale - the location can't be beat! We had a spacious room for 4 with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff. We arrived at around 10:30am the rooms were available by 11 am, so left the baggage at the reception, took the shuttle to the mall road and went around Nainital for siteseeing, boating by the lake, lunch at mall road and a visit to the local zoo and returned to the hotel by hotel shuttle by 4:30pm we found our room was already upgraded , bags already moved to the hotel room They made our checkin soo smooth and nice .Overall enjoyed. The reception took special care of us to fulfil our every needs The dinner was very good, with a la carte and the breakfast buffet was good too. we stayed in ' Landmark Regent 'room which has a best view of the hills and has a large open space for the children's. Overall enjoyed. Had a great stay.

We visited a in month of February. We were two couples with kids. We were looking for a property away from the Hustle - bustle of Nainital and this fitted the bill perfectly.
This property is surrounded b ya garden on its side and back . This provided a lot of rooms for our kids to run around. Incidentally we had nailed our visit such that we were greeted with snowfall.
So almost half of the garden was covered with clean snow. Our kids literally had a ball !!
We had chosen the king size rooms. These were quite spacious and clean. Bathrooms had a dry showers well maintained .
Management is quite friendly
Some recommendations King size rooms are quite spacious :)
If you have kids try and take garden facing rooms or reagent rooms. - you can keep any eye on them- from rooms balcony (while leisurely sipping a hot cup of coffee ) while they play in the garden. Also go with the dinner included package as it will be cheaper.

We stayed at the WelcomHeritage Ashdale for a weekend, and it definitely made us want to stay longer and we extended our stay by a day. The property was beautiful, with a good view of the hills, very well maintained lawn and the restaurant, Food was exceptionally good! The chef made sure that if we had any demands they were met with always a huge smile on everyone’s face. The rooms were very comfortable with a good place to sit in the balcony. the property is in close proximity to the Uttarakhand high court and accessible to everything around! The staff was very pleasant & helpful and this is a place I would recommend to all my friends & family, and I can’t wait to visit it again! A big big thankyou to the amazing team!
