Most people are floored with catchy punch lines and impressive words to garnish their property. We at Green Glen believe in our guests describing its veracity in its simplicity. Guests visiting a hill station have varied aspirations. While some like to party, some just wish to walk in the nature with cool fresh air under the clear blue sky and relax and want to be away from the noisy and polluted hectic life. Some revive their family or friends bonding under star studded sky , some adventurous ones like to trek/hike do some outdoor activities like para gliding /rock climbing/kayaking/river crossing/rappelling/fishing, sight seeing , Birding (our den is a heaven for bird watchers) WE HAVE IT ALL. If one has to summarise the guest reviews; Beautiful location, comfortable rooms , sumptuous food, plenty of options for activities and above all a personalised service makes Green Glen a perfect HOME AWAY FROM HOME.
I travelled to Green Glen in March 2022 and my experience was 5 star because of the following 10 reasons. 1. Excellent parking space (6 to 8) cars can easily be parked. They even have a resource to clean your vehicles if required. They proactively dont ask for money but you can pay them as per your convenience. 2. The chef is experienced and can cook very tasty north indian/south indian and local delicacies. They even accept your food preferences and ensure it is cooked as per your taste. 3. Rooms don't need air con even in summer, there is something about the way these rooms are built which is why they are so cool. Rooms have functional fireplace which can be used in winters to keep the room warm. 5. Chess, Dart Board, Carrom Board, table tennis are the games that are available. They even have a big badminton court. 6. High speed Wifi, Projectors and high quality Bluetooth speakers available without any extra charge. 7. You can request BBQ and bonfire. This might be available on chargeable basis depending on the type of arrangement you have with the owner. 8. This is a pet friendly property and has a lovely garden and valley view. With the existing lighting arrangement the property looks fantastic at night. 9. Value for money especially when you are travelling with a group. 10. Paragliding, boating and other water games are within 4-5 kms from the property. I don't think within this price range you will get any other property with such facilities and even if there are any properties I don't want to try them as I am happy and content with the overall experience in Green Glen. I am positive I am not the first person to say this and I won't be the last. All the best team Green Glen.

A very elegant property nestled in the quiet ancient serene environs of Bhimtal The rooms and the common areas have been done tastefully and provide an homely ambience with a rustic touch. All facilities are available for a family holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life.. The icing on the cake is the warm and extremely efficient hospitality of the owners and tge staff. The staff is super efficient and always ready to provide you with a service with a warm smile. The food is excellent, with a personal touch of the chef to give you a true experience of tasty homemade meals served hot and efficiently. If you looking for a really relaxing holiday without wanting to worry about comfort and good food, Green Glen, Bhimtal is the destination. Trees, adventure sports, bature are all close by and easily accessible. On the property you can engage yourself in all types of indoor games or just chill with a book and a glass of beer or wine a per your choice. A pet friendly place too, which is a bonus.

Lovely place with serene atmosphere and awesome weather to beat the heat in summers. Excellent hospitality by the staff and a personal touch in every aspect. Well maintained property by the expert Col Shyam and his team. Immaculate to the core. The team takes cares of every small issues to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Must visit, highly recommended.

The place feels like heaven and the staff 'Hari bhaiya' was such a nice person who took care of all are needs and the service was quick . The room size was too big and spacious. The food here was like absolute heaven and you could feel the soothing breeze and the mountains looked very beautiful during both day and night overall the place was just too good if you need a peaceful place just come over here with your family

Green Glen Saat Taal is a hidden oasis in the beautiful landscape of the Nainitaal region. Just 30 Kilometers from Kathgodam that on a trafficless road shouldn't take you more than an hour. Usually when you are travelling from Bhimtal to Bhowali or further in the area you have a tendency to ignore this part and you go past it towards Ranikhet or other exotic destinations of kumaun.
Green Glen is a wonderful homestay. Small place with just 6 rooms in the main residency and a couple more in another. The whole premises gel well with nature. The Dinining hall and lobby have a unique architecture and interiors that give it a typical Indian village feeling.
It's an ideal place to simply relax and do nothing but breathe fresh air and watch the mountains and the valley. The greens and flowers attract lots of birds who keep chirping through the day and especially in the early morning. One can explore the surroundings by making a base here.. a walk in the area will take you to an old British era church and lakes in Saat Taal where one could do boating as well.
For birders and bird photographers Saat Taal is a heaven. It's home to a large number of migratory birds in winters but in other times also you will find a large variety of other birds.
About 300 kilometers from Delhi where the drive takes nearly 6 hours, I recommend this home stay to anyone especially Delhiites as a weekend gateaway.

Excellent place for family or friends get together. Better to choose for all 8 rooms reservations . Our family stay was memorable with our customised Menu with excellent hospitality from 10 to 14 june.Location was very amazing.During Night time Projector time with all family members was awesome where we reminiscened good old days of our childhood on the projector. Chef delighted us with a very good food all the time . Other staff Hari , Mukesh and one more took personal care. Thank u . We ll certainly go again next year.

Corona and lockdown has nearly sapped the energy and spirit of many a travellers. However, a place like Green Glen has the ability to actually rejuvenate the tired and sapped souls of the weary travellers. The location is amazing and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. We are a family of 8 which includes 2 children and we also had our four legged companion with us. Our furry friend had a fantastic time. Rooms are extremely comfortable and the view from the 1st floor balcony is lush and green. It is a must visit and is family and pet friendly. Thank you team Green Glen for the warmth and hospitality.

Amazing, awesome, exceptional... One can go on and on with such adjectives and still not do justice. You have to stay there to experience all these. If you are looking for a homely stay away from your home look no further. Want to destress without going through the hoopla of yoga, meditation courses etc.? Search no further. Just staying there will relax your mind and body. Very calm and quiet, away from the madding crowd, yet very central to the touristy places. I can wager that once you come here with plans of visiting known tourist spots, you will not feel like it. The place will captivate you. Adding and enhancing your experience are the hosts, Col. Shyam and his gracious wife along with their staff of Hari, Ajit and Mukesh with their impeccable attention to details and service ensuring that you have a memorable stay. Be ready to feel homesick for this place when you leave! Seven out of five stars!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.The location of our room was absolutely perfect.The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place.Luckily we met owner of the property Mr.karnal uncle He briefed us about few places those were beautiful and mesmerizing ♥️He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. He accompanied us to the some places and we had a great time together. All respect for him who does a great job here. Excellent hospitality.🙏
