This review is for Clarks Group and not specific to the resorts. The Ramgarh hotel staff is very helpful and very nice. I would like to share a recent worst experience with the Clarks group. It’s the most unprofessional hotel group I have ever deal with. I have booked 2 rooms at Ramgarh resorts on 8th June through there central reservation system for 23rd and 24th june and did all the payments. On reaching the resorts I found that there is no booking in the hotel for those 2 days. I have taken a taxi from Kathgodam and spent almost INR 3500 to reach there with my family. The hotel manager said that he did not have any booking with my name and the resort is completely sold out for next 2 days. On checking with there central number they told that due to technical glitch they did not able to pass the info to the hotel. They only offered 1 night at the resort and next day I have to look for another hotel for 1 night and spend almost INR 20000 for the same and the worst part is that the hotel is not apologetic at all. They refund back only 1 night amount to me. I have been travelling for almost 20 years now and this is most worst experience with any hotel group.…
very good food and great helpful staff and nice value for money. they made food according to our taste and also always had smile on their faces and never refused for any service in their power.totally recommended
The hotel staff lacks food management. They donot have any idea about buffet timings, menu, service. Also the food quality is pathetic. The hotel management definitely needs to look upto it's service and food quality.
A good property with really great views from the rooms balcony that makes it a really good place to stay. The rooms were nice clean and simple yet well decorated. The food facility is also there which was reasonable too. But i still think the prices still not justified and should be slashed a bit.
We visited the hotel 24 sep. The overall experience was amazing. The rooms and other areas are quite spacious. Food was excellent and prices are reasonable. People looking for real peace should visit.
I stayed in this hotel with my family for just a night. We liked the location and the overall features of the hotel. Our room was fine. It was neat and subtly decorated. The balcony had an excellent view and the bathroom was very clean. The one thing that we didn't like about the place was that the room and the food prices were ridiculously high. They ought to consider about it . Other than that, everything was ok.
Chanced upon this hotel for a night's stay while on our way from Muketeswar to Nainital. Fell in love instantly with the property. Situated in Malla Ramgarh (3 kms down from the main road), the hotel has a large balcony with an expansive view of the valley and the lesser Himalayas. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They even arranged for a bonfire for us on the roof. The food was delicious. Ramgarh is a place devoid of any commercial exploitation and Whispering Pines just fits right in. I would love to visit this property again.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Location is good and the rooms are good too but the hotel staff was disappointing and their behavior was very bad. They fully overcharged us in food and the food taste was bad too. It was totally a headache staying at this hotel. Lady sitting at reception is having a very bad attitude towards customers if you ask for a discount. Hotel staff even do not know about the food items. They only know about Chicken curry and Dal tadka which they make horrible too. Do not stay at this hotel if you are going for a pleasant stay.
Nice scenic beauty , with small fruit garden , top floor is best , food is very costly , room rates are negotiable , parking space is available , good stop over to visit Mukteshwar , one night stay is sufficient , place is very small , better carry all essentials
The place was beautiful and so were the tents, with amazing services, good food quality, and loads and loads of exciting things to do. The experience of staying in tents was just awesome and so was the feel of sitting next to the borne fire in the laps of Himachal and beautiful mountains around. We felt so safe under the guidance of professional trainers who made us comfortable and gave us courage to enjoy all the adventurous activities. Best and the most affordable weekend get-aways!!
