This is a beautifully designed hotel. I really liked the color combinations and furniture used here. *It gives an amazing view of the nainital lake and each floor has a common balcony/sitting area which gives a good feeling altogether. *The location of the hotel is very good, the boating area and lake is just outside the hotel, so you can enjoy boating anytime of the day. *The hotel’s cafe is an exciting place to be, it is mostly full so you may have to wait to catch the balcony table which gives a very fun vibe. The food is good. *The hotel service or staff was very nice and quick.
What I did not like was the space of the room, we had the lake view rooms and the space was very small. Even the beds are very small and you end up asking for extra mattresses if you are travelling with your family. The washroom space was also small. The space has been compromised with the location/service/food but overall it is a good hotel to stay in.

One of the best places on mall road, this place has the best view of the lake. Naina Devi temple, Tibetan market, boating point are walking distance from this place. The local bus stand is 1 km from the hotel

Cons: local transport comprises of cabs and rickshaw (they do not ply from 6-8 pm). Do plan your visit after checking the weather as it can get difficult if it rains.

Located just at the heart of the Mall road, tis pretty property offers great view of the Nainital Lake. Naina Devi temple, the market place, Rope Way, all are in walking distance. The food is very very good and you are going to love each and every dish. The Service is also very prompt, rooms are clean, clean bathroom.Jagdish ji was very helpful.Rooms are lil bit small. We opted for Maple Room, though view is wonderful. If you are travelling with kids its better you choose other rooms , this is best for couples or single traveler.

We are staying at the Lakeside Inn on our current trip to Nainital. Must say we are very happy with the decor, feel, professional yet friendly attitude of the staff, the location of the property and food. We chose one of their lake facing rooms, which has a floor to ceiling glass wall giving us a 180 degree view of the lake, right from our bed. The room and bed is though small, but quite comfortable. Effective heating through the AC keeps the room very cosy and their Cafe on the ground level serves sumptuous Conti, Chinese, as well as Indian cuisine. The rooms have electric kettles and hot and cold running water. Washrooms are small but very modern and clean. If there is one thing which made our stay memorable..is the convenience of the location. It's bang on the main mall road, between both ends of the Naini lake. Kudos to team Lakeside Inn !!!

Visited LakeSide Inn with my friends this March and couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway. The hotel is centrally located on the mall road with a picturesque view of the lake. The rooms are very tastefully done up and offer all amenities from quality toiletries to hair dryers in the washroom.

I had a beautifulstay at LakeSide Inn Nainital. Located on the mall road itself the hotel is in the heart of nainital. Everythig is at walking distance. We did a roadtrip from delhi and luckily the hotel had parking space available, something that is difficult to find at such a prime location. The entire experience was beautiful, from the rooms to the service to the exceptional food at the restaurant.

Please do not book this hotel at all. You will not get the same room whatever they have shown on mm t and even if you will escalate to deep kalra (ceo mmt) even then hotel or mm t will not assist at all. Don't book this property at all only plus is location nothing else. Worst experience ever.

The rooms were excellent, very tastefully done. The overall ambience and feel of the hotel gave a very warm yet premium feel. The location was perfect, just on the mall road also giving an amazing view of the Nainital lake. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and even helped us in planning our day to day activities. Moreover, the hotel has a wonderful in house cafe- cafe lakeside. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I definitely love to visit again.

After a thorough research of hotels in the area I decided to stay at The Lakeside Inn and it was totally worth it! Situated on the Mall road, the hotel gives you the best view of the lake and is ideally located to cover most of the activities offered in Nainital. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is Uber courteous and helpful.
Best of all was the cute Cafe that the hotel has to offer. The amazing view and the great food on offer make this place as a must visit at the very least.

Lakeside Inn is a property I'd recommend to every traveller who wants to be right on the mall road. It's cute, cozy, beautiful, happening (courtesy the yummilicious food serving cafe and restaurant it has), and well-maintained. Staff is courteous and caring. Hygiene and sanitization standards are good. I was extremely impressed with how every little corner of the hotel has been well-maintained and artistically crafted. Lakside Inn is definitely my go-to hotel in Nainital for years to come.

Hi,
No there is no elevator. The staff will be happy to help in any way possible since the restaurant is one floor above ground level and one has to climb stairs to reach.
There are more places to choose from in the Nainital area.
