Firstly to get a good place with some sort of the view of the lake takes over 30 minutes. The food is very ordinary. We tried Indian and Chinese. The food is over priced and the staff is not at all warm. Over Hyped place. Their are better cafe and restaurants in nainital with much better food and view.

#Nainital best hotel lakeside Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds this was one of the nicest places we stayed .

Barring the lake view provided you get the lake facing room, there is very little to write home about. Tiny room we were in had hardly any space to move about. The exhaust fan in bathroom was choked and thus ineffective. Metal towel rack came crashing down. Sorry state of affairs. The food was unpalatable . Opt for better property , may be a little away from the lake.

This is a beautifully designed hotel. I really liked the color combinations and furniture used here. *It gives an amazing view of the nainital lake and each floor has a common balcony/sitting area which gives a good feeling altogether. *The location of the hotel is very good, the boating area and lake is just outside the hotel, so you can enjoy boating anytime of the day. *The hotel’s cafe is an exciting place to be, it is mostly full so you may have to wait to catch the balcony table which gives a very fun vibe. The food is good. *The hotel service or staff was very nice and quick. What I did not like was the space of the room, we had the lake view rooms and the space was very small. Even the beds are very small and you end up asking for extra mattresses if you are travelling with your family. The washroom space was also small. The space has been compromised with the location/service/food but overall it is a good hotel to stay in.

Located just bang opposite the Nainital Lake and on the mall road this place can't go without noticing one's attention. It was my first visit to Nainital and I always wanted to explore this place..Nestled just opposite the central library and on the mall road...Very close to the boat station of central library. This place reminds you of a legacy..a place meant for overlooking the Lake for hours while sipping a coffee or a Bombay cutting chai and relishing the delicacies made by the house chef.. The very desire to stay in it brought me back in August as I wanted to enjoy the Lake during the day and the also the quietness of the night! Each corner of the cafe speaks about the passion of it's owner and the way they have done it out of sheer love to create a space where people can come, relax, cherish the lake and also a corner to read books. The rooms are cozy and the service warm and welcome. The balcony on each floor overlooking the lake lends the same joy even if you are not staying in the rooms overlooking the lake.. The list is endless and the cafe reminded me of the old charm, a legacy and a place crafted with love and passion. I would certainly recommend anyone visiting Nainital to not miss the oppurtunity to see this wonderful place and cherish a meal overlooking the Naini Lake.. A tribute to this wonderful place! Lakeside cafe "I love you" I don't know why? May be I can feel the Lake, the mountains, the water, the wooden boats plying and the quacking of the ducks swimming in group and shy! I love the place, the vibes the food and I desired the feel to spend some time! A poet but can't resist, sipping the coffee he rhymes! Friends! Cherish this place and spend your leisure hours The heart would surely love each moment and your soul will sing joyfully for hours!

I had an amazing stay there, b'ful view and separate sitting area. However, installation of a fan is suggested. Staff was friendly and cooperative. Amenities were good, it would be great if the breakfast is inclusive of the rates. Nonetheless, one of the best places to stay at mall road.

Pros- -situated on the mall road - rooms were spacious and with all modern amenities. - gives a nice cozy luxurious feel - has a cute little beautiful cafe which serves delicious food - plethora of shops and restaurants nearby Cons- - has extremely poor wifi connectivity - avoid rooms on first floor as they are noisy due to cafe and kitchen by its side - one of the staff kept asking for tips - pretty expensive as compared to other hotels nearby We stayed at Lake Side Inn for a week. It was a mixture of good and bad experience. As we were working on weekdays, poor wifi connectivity made it difficult. Even after making numerous complaints, the staff couldn't help much. The restaurant though serves delicious food but is expensive. I would recommend to try their pancakes and soups. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Overall a good experience.

The best hotel in Nainital, it's super luxurious in the budget and has all modern amenities. Hotel rooms have a great view of the lake which is best enjoyed with a coffee from their café. Will visit again for sure highly recommended, go for it!

The rooms are spacious, bathrooms, and space around are very good. Room Service and housekeeping are also very good. The restaurant (cafe) especially Indian specialty is also a good place to sit and enjoy the meal with a great view outside. Overall very good experience and one of the suggested hotels in Nainital that has good wi-fi and sanitized regularly.
