Had three very pleasant stays at this charming quirky 'Art' hotel in the beautiful Port de Sète. The town itself is beautiful, the hotel very nice, a nice bar and courtyard, and an excellent breakfast. Will definitely be visiting again!

Looking for a room for two ,found hotel de paris.sold me a room for two ($100) but did not mention the bed was 120cm basically a single . No apologies or refund or even a cup of coffee to correct the mistake. Design the 60's maybe fashionable in France but very dirty feeling shaggy green carpet and 5 different shades... More

I visit Sete often and stay with a friend but she had other guests so i booked a week at the Hotel de Paris. The staff is great- very friendly and helpful. The location is good too- right in the middle of everything. I was very disappointed in the rooms. First of all, there is no place to put anything-... More

Staff was very helpful for early arrival. Room was comfortable with pretty good soundproofing. Good value. Fell short with confusion on servicing room and calling taxi. Night staff said morning staff would easily arrange. Morning staff said should have been done night before. One mile walk to train station was OK in existing weather and timetable but could have been... More

Took a punt on this hotel as there wasn't much else available when we arrived in Sete. Regret that. Design is definitely out there, a fair bit more extreme than suggested by the website photos, which have been very artfully taken to conceal the garishness of the room design. Room was tiny, not fabulously clean, and bar staff in particular... More

We spent 2 nights here. Check in was very smooth and our interactions with the Reception staff were really good. They were keen to engage and help in any way they could. It's easy to see the aspirations for boutique in this hotel but the design is looking a little tired around the edges. Our room was a reasonable size... More

Booked two rooms here for one night, one superior the other standard. On arrival we were given keys to two standard rooms, one of which was entirely painted in a very lurid blue and very small. The shower and loo were right in the room with only a curtain to draw across. All rather claustrophobic and not at all what... More

We managed to book the last remaining room in this hotel in a very busy week in August and were very glad we did - not only is it very centrally located and full of character but the reception staff were absolutely wonderful. One in particular tirelessly rang restaurant after restaurant in a bid to ensure we had a good... More

This quirky hotel is well located for all city activities. Near restaurants and the Grand Canal. Full of art most of which is strange.Ou r room faced the main road but with the windows closed it was quite. It was a non-smoking room but when you opened the windows you were greeted with many finished cigarette butts. We left there... More

The title sums up this hotel. If staying in Sete, you will struggle to find a better combination of the two. The hotel looks fresh and the bar and restaurant are really elegant spaces. The bar with its courtyard terrace is a particularly nice place to chill if the midday sun gets a bit to much as the terrace is... More
