I found Anh Linh very cheap and good quality.
I stayed here to nights with foods, drinks served right here.
The hotel owner and staffs are so friendly and helpful. I could hire motorbike here to explore the city and especially Phong Nha cave - a world natural heritage in Quang Binh province.

Hope to come back this lovely place one day!

Nice staff, clean room with everything a traveler might need (clean bathroom, AC, wardrobe, many electrical plugs, etc.) Unless you are looking for luxury, you probably won't find a better value for money in town.

We stayed here to break up our trip from Hanoi to Hue and as a stopoff to see the Phong Nha caves. Dong Hoi doesn't offer much but this hotel had a friendly receptionist and was cheap and cheerful. The room was small but it was clean and had air con and a fan. If you are staying in Dong Hoi for one night as part of a transit I would recommend this place. Close to the buffalo bar which is about as lively as it gets there and walking distance(ish) to the main bus station.

Very noisy, over charging us, booking bus ticket was a real hassle, the hotel needs a bit tender love and care. Very unprofessional! like kids in a playground...did not eat here, to filthy for our liking...we only stayed 1 night and with our checkout they all of the sudden pretended to be our best friends while otherwise not being very helpful at all! a very weird experience...

Thank you for your time to review of my hotel, I am sorry for your inconvenience that did not meet your expectation. Our hotel is not a luxury hotel but it is very clean and reasonable price, our staff alway work hardly, friendly, usefully to serve for guest . (Basing on guest's review), About the booking ticket bus: when the bus had incident, we said to you and sorry about that lateness. And it was accepted by your satisfaction. this was problem which we do not want to have for you. Anyway, thank you again for your comments. Anh Linh hotel will believe that many things should be improved and can make it better for customer expectation.

Had a wonderful stay. The room was very neat, and met my expectations. The Breakfast is simple but good. The staff was very helpful in giving advice and directions, especially in guiding to book tour to Phong Nha and Paradise Caves. Will certainly stay here again.

Initial appearances leave something to be desired but this is Dong Hoi not Hanoi nor Saigon. Some of the staff speak a smattering of English and all are friendly and helpful. Had some issue with drainage and hot water but each time the issue was met with an apology, a smile and a new room. The bed was comforatble but if the night became cold the double layered sheet was not always adequate for warmth. Air Con worked - TV channel selection is very good. The walls/doors are thin and you can hear most things on your floor but not so late as to be a real issue. It looks like they are renovating the kitchen and lobby area. All for less than €10 and ratings are based on that.

Room Tip: A lower numbererd room (4 and under) is best as the hotel is close to a school and they start early.

From first greeting (if you can call it that) our room wasn't ready even though it was a near empty hotel.

Poor manners, lack of English, no breakfast or bottled water included though advertised.

After showing them our reservation which clearly stated Deluxe double room (The room which was never ready so enjoying two single beds in a normal room), breakfast & water they started arguing and saying that it's wrong.

By now I had stopped enjoying being bitten by mosquitoes in their lobby so just checked out.

Our worst experience in Vietnam and we've stayed at a lot cheaper places! Glad we only had the one night here!

Thank you for choosing Anh Linh Hotel for your stay in Dong Hoi. But we have disappointed very much about your comment for our hotel. Because, it completely wrong !Do you think it has too worth it? - The first : Policies check in : Check-in time starts at 2:00 PM . When you come my hotel at 7:00am, we talk about the rooms that if you wait to 2:00 pm, we have Deluxe double room for you. But you want check in at that, so we helped by Deluxe Twin room and free. You have accepted it and don't change the rooms. But now you talk that we didn't help you. I think you very petty ! - The second : About breakfast After we see to have problem with the web. We help you by one menu . Provided that you only choose one of the dishes on the menu. The price dishes for 1 person is 1.5 $.You have two people, so worth for breakfast is 3$ dollars . Meanwhile, your room price is 15$ dollars.. Not to mention that you check in early morning. But you want call 3 or 4 dishes to use for your breakfast. You greedy too! Therefore, After you check out , your write comment to lower and criticize us. I know you are very happy for your comment and you think that will to discredit my hotel. However, we want to tell you that Our hotel is one of the most components prestigious and the enthusiastic hotels in Dong Hoi city . And we don't fear for your bad comments affect the prestigious my hotel. The your vengeance just is lower your ! I hope you will to have luck on your trip in my country.

Okay hotel The place could have been better for the amount it is charging. It is located in a very silent area. If you happen to reach by night, they can pick you up by their van. Good breakfast, but less portions, need to order double.

WORD OF WARNING if you are looking to visit the caves at Phong Nha Ke Bang then go straight there, loads of good accommodation at the park (we stayed at pepperhouse homestay which was lovely). There's not all that much to do in Don Hoi, a beach which isn't all that great.. yeah and that's it really. Maybe there was even less open because of Tet. This hostel was ok, good shower and bathroom, friendly staff, the only issue was that the beds were rock hard. We slept on top of extra blankets and sheets to try and compensate but it wasn't a great nights sleep.
