We stayed at Bao Ninh Beach Resort for four days and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are big and clean and the staff very forthcoming. The Resort is very very beautiful.

I stayed at Celina Peninsula Resort last year witn a group of 4 couples.
Let me start by saying the resort is spectacular, we had a good time, everything was impeccable from check in process, to the great ocean view room itself, staff at the restaurant, nice breakfast with many traditional dishes, spa and gym were all amazing. In room dining dinner menu was also amazing.
Anna- the front desk girl took her extra time to help me with "what to do list" for our 3 days in Quang Binh.
Let me start by saying the resort is spectacular, we had a good time, everything was impeccable from check in process, to the great ocean view room itself, staff at the restaurant, nice breakfast with many traditional dishes, spa and gym were all amazing. This is an affordable Resort with a couple of pools and right on the beach. The atmosphere in the Resort is nice and the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and generally good. The staff do not speak English, however, which makes it quite difficult to communicate with them. The rooms are comfortable but fairly basic. All in all this is a relaxing Resort close to Dong Hoi and 40 minutes from Phong Nha Ke-Bang national park. I think the customer service in the hotel generally needs a bit of improvement but the Resort is quite good for a few days stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights as we were heading out to the National Park to see the caves.
The hotel is brand new and part of it is still being built. It cost about US$6 to get a taxi from the town to the hotel as it is a fair distance from the center of town, out on a sandy peninsula on the beach. There is nothing within walking distance of the hotel, only other hotels that are all still under construction.
It was lovely, new, clean and beautiful, but empty. We were the only people staying there.
Breakfast was included which was very basic, a cup of coffee or tea, a couple of pieces of fresh fruit, 2 eggs and a piece of bread. There was no buffet or choice like in most other hotels. We had dinner one evening at the hotel which was fine. They had an extensive menu but when we ordered, it turned out they didn't have any of the foods. It was easier to ask for what they actually did have, which was very limited, some fish and pork with steamed spinach, basically.
The people were friendly enough and spoke very limited english.
The internet was only available in the lobby and was very slow and limited at times.
All in all it was a nice place, but too impractical and far to stay from town. Maybe if tourism picks up in 5-10 years or so, this hotel may be a lovely beach resort.

The hotel was lovely and the pools and grounds were beautiful however we found the service to be lacking. Their business definitely caters to Vietnamese bus tours and not to individuals travelling as couples. It was difficult to find anyone able to help us with questions we had. The staff at the pool area did not ask if you wanted a cover for your lounge or perhaps a beverage or snack. It seemed we had to search for staff to help us constantly during our visit rather than being asked if we needed anything. Very unusual for a hotel anywhere! A Karaoke party was going on right outside our room but thankfully it shut down around 10:30PM. It looked like fun for the Vietname but it was lacking from our point of view. Too bad because it is a lovely hotel.

We had a hot day to spend in Dong Hoi before our 8pm flight so asked if we could spend the day by their pool, charged us 100 dong to use their pool, gave us comfy chairs and towels to use! Lovely staff!

During our trip to Vietnam this accomodation was the most we paid. It was also one of the worst. Luckily we were only staying one night!
What made our experience at this hotel negative was partially due to our expectations of what we thought it would be like. Be warned this is an extremely empty resort. The gym was nonexistent and filled with random furniture. Desks around the hotel were empty and dust covered all the empty rooms which should have had been leisure rooms etc. when at dinner we were watched closely by the Vietnamese staff and served last after all other Vietnamese, including those seated after us. When we checked in our checkout time was supposed to be 2pm. We received a phone call at a quarter to 12 telling us that it was actually 12 and that if we didn't check out we would be charged an additional cost of half the price of the room. Really ridiculous seeing as they literally had about twenty people staying in this huge resort.
That being said the people at reception were lovely. While they had extremely limited English they did genuinely try and help and were always friendly.
If we are ever back in dong Hoi we will be staying at one of the backpackers.

Just wonderful. The whole resort is immaculate and beautiful with a stunning beach just whow. Everyday we had the pool or the beach to ourselves like we had our own bit of paradise. Now this is not a tourist resort so not much in the ways of bars/restaurants and things to down in the town itself but worth a visit as taxis so cheap. We had only booked 3 nights and ended up staying 4 as it was that beautiful. The staff were lovely but struggled a bit with English but we found this so cute. This is a must place to stay at if you are traveling up or down Vietnam like we did and it was so worth the train journey.

We were staying there during the National holiday, we booked two seaview room and there was absolutely no seaview at all, it was like A SCAMMM. Rooms are old, smellt and extremely noisy. Breakfast was not good and they did not change the menu daily.
The hotel is too crowded and fully booked during the holiday, but the owner kept selling swim tickets for other people made it unbelievable crowded and un secured (somebody stole my baby ball and toys and i was hit by a ball at my face becaude they kept playing foofball at the swimming pool)
The Gala dinner was a nightmare, food is not good and people scrambled over some chicken wings or grilled fish.
