Nice hotel with great location for seaview from the high floor. Spacious, comfortable room. There are some restaurant nearby, easy to get by walk. It cost 1.5 usd for the taxi-moto from Dong Hoi Station to the hotel.

It is always difficult to find the right place in a city you don't know but we were lucky. This pretty new hotel is at the end of the River, just at the coastline, away from the noise. The hotelstaff is very helpfull with advice for local travelarrangements and even concerned about is. The rooms are very clean, spacious and very comfortable, with a nice view on River and sea. The breakfast is good, no buffet but you get enough. On this moment we seems to be the only strangers but I am sure this a good place for tourists. Don't miss it in Dong Hoi!!!

We stayed at this hotel last week. The hotel itself has a nice location overlooking the river, staff were very helpful and friendly and is pretty cheap. The only issue we had the night we stayed was that the whole hotel seemed to be taken over by ex Vietnamese army officers, who were so loud it felt like they were shouting inside my room!! The next night there were loads of young people there, who were all getting drunk outside the hotel, with one being carried inside as he was so drunk! I don't think it would be like this all the time. I think we were just unlucky!

Good sized room, simple and functional. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stone throw away from ben than market. Location was ideal. Good breakfast spread, with special order for eggs, pho and ice coffee.

This is a lovely, modern hotel in a great spot, right on the esplanade. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms modern. There is a lift, which is very handy if you have sore muscles or lots of gear. The breakfast is a choice or pho or fried eggs, both equally tasty. The laundry service was fast and moderately priced. The reception staff were professional. Wifi was patchy in the room, but you expect this in Vietnam. Better reception in the foyer. The price was reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

There is absolutely no reason in staying in Dong Hoi except if you want to visit the Phong Nha caves (all hotels in Phong Nha are rubbish). I paid 500,000 VND for the night including breakfast. - The rooms are very clean with good AC, 4 towels, amenities in the bathroom, and separate shower, - The receptionist spoke English, - The breakfast was OK. - I didn't have time to enjoy it but even the view was nice. The main problem is the acoustics of doors: I was on the same floor than a Vietnamese group from the country side (one 60 year old lady didn't dare using the lift with me as she certainly was afraid to be molested) and they woke me up at five in the morning. If you're on a budget I recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel once a year in the past 3 years during my regular tour trip. Very conveniently located hotel which is near the beach, many seafood restaurants of the city, main national highway. Still, I must say this is an average hotel with average quality, clean enough room and soft enough bed for our 1 night rest en route to the South.

Arrived in Dong Hoi late afternoon, without booking ahead. Armed with a list of TripAdvisor hotels to work through we drove by all, and called in at a couple. Chose Luxe. Good location facing the sea (bay) - new, and well looked after. For the price this was a very welcome find. The receptionist was professional, and spoke very good English. The room was absolutely fine - clean and fit for purpose. We were a party of five adults - including driver. We would be very happy to recommend to friends, and also visit again ourselves.

I was unhappy with a competing hotel that I had previously booked, I walked into the Luxe on a whim, and was immediately impressed with the front staff and their professionalism! Ha was very accommodating showing me the rooms available, arranging the return of my scooter, and getting me settled in short order! She took care of booking tours for me, pointing me in the right direction for restaurants and sights of Dong Hoi. Also arranged for my bus trip to my next destination! The room itself was quite comfortable, bed a little hard, but I found that to be the case in most hotels in Vietnam. shower took some getting used to, but no complaints there either. Breakfast was standard, but again no complaints. I plan to return to Dong Hoi in the future, and am looking forward to staying at the Luxe once again.

This beachfront hotel is convenient. It easily accesses to the must- see attractions, restaurants and transportation. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, and lots of amenities in the room. The buffet are various and eye- catching.The receptionist is very nice. Will come again with my family
