Honestly, I was originally attracted to it by the price and the great reviews, but now I really cannot recommend Dolphin Home enough. The genuine, caring hospitality is unmatched.
From the moment I set foot in Dolphin Home, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Hoài and her family are so kind and helpful, and I ended up staying in Dolphin Home for 2 months while I found my own permanent accommodation. Dolphin became my first home away from home, and even once I found a house to live in, I was sad to leave the comfort and friendly faces at Dolphin Home.
During my time there I stayed in a private room, the dormitory, and the family room, and the rooms and beds are all clean and comfortable. There is a wonderful rooftop terrace from which you have a great view over the park and the majestic Nhật Lệ River. It's also a perfect place to watch the sunrise, and the fishermen starting off on their boats for the day. It's an ideal location for your stay in Đồng Hới, with plenty of attractions and restaurants within walking distance. There are also bicycles to be borrowed for any further exploring or visits to the beach.

Great stay at Dolphin Homestay, the room are clean and beds are confortable for a fair price. The owner is really nice and helpful. She arrange transportation for us to Phong Nha as well as to the Laos border. Thank you so much for your help and welcome. I would definitely recommend to stay there if stopping in Dong Hoi for a few days

We spent a couple of nights here and I couldn’t praise them enough. Unfortunately we were both feeling under the weather when we arrived, they were so caring. The room was so clean and airy, which was a big change from what we had been staying in in the North. Dong Hoi is a lovely little town, beautiful gardens on the river front. It was a really lovely place to go for a walk after 5 (when the weather cools down).

I was staying 3 night at Dolphin Homestay and it s the best value in Dong Hoi after compare lot of hotels and guesthouse around. People are really charming and helpfull and they do their best for their guest. Rooms are clean and nice and you have a nice roof top for enjoy a great view of the river a few meters front of the place. Also you have option with a nice affordable breakfast (not include with the room) on the 1st floor. Highly recommanded !!

Opposite the dolphin statue, great location, friendly informative staff. Dorm room was spacious with lockers outside of the room, spotless bathroom, great chill out area on 2nd floor, free bikes. Bus to national park stops close by. Highly recommended

Good location, friendly atmosphere, comfortable room, good bedding and cleanliness is at the rendezvous. Small grocery store on the ground floor, family kitchen. The Manager of the place is very helpful and gives all the information needed to visit the area.

In case you plan of accommodation is not only for caving in Phong Nha then this B&B can be a good choice in the middle of Dong Hoi.
Rooms with themes, bright and clean enough. The best part is the rooftop with great view over Nhat Le river where you could have a cold drink at night.
The host is super nice with many valued recommendation for F&B
Overall, we have a very pleasant stay at budget.

We stayed there in a pink room just few days ago and we love the time there. The room is a bit small but lovely and well- decorated. The host was very nice from the moment we booked the room via airbnb and contacted her for more travelling information. The extra services were good as well with reasonable price for motorbike rental, free bike rental, well - organized tours, free map...There was some small things that need to be improved like the curtain in room or breakfast, bathroom amenities but I had already let the host know about that. They even decorated our room with rose petals with a special note for our 3rd year anniversary. The location is very close to Quang Binh gate, Dong hoi market, Nhat Le bridge... and you even have very nice view to a peaceful park and Nhat Le river. Overall, this is a pretty new homestay but it is a great choice for you in Dong Hoi
