Reception is quiet helpful in that case.
1. Blood on the sheets
2. Dirty comb on the sink.
3. Half used shampoo and conditioner.
4 trash on the window sill
Not quite sure if that’s the only room they have used since the grand opening or not.
This place is certainly desolate for a very good reason.
Side note... they seemed surprised to have a reservation appear in the books, and were extra surprised when the name on it matched our passports.
This short experience in no way reflects any other during my time in Vietnam. The hospitality thus far has been amazing
the hotel was rather empty, and at times, there was nobody at reception, leaving us stranded (to get a taxi, we had to go to a nearby and busier hostel). communication was very limited as their english was virtually non existent. breakfast was a struggle, with no choice at all. on our second day, they just turned up with meat dumplings, which we declined politely. surely, they could come up with 2 or 3 breakfast options. the staff weren't particularly keen to help. in fact, for all the information we needed we went to the fabulous treehugger cafe in town.
the room was spacious and clean but rather cold. maybe in summer this is a great place to stay, although i cannot see how communication would improve. all in all, i would not recommend this hotel
The reception was very bad, limited to no English, and no help at all. We stayed during the hurricane, and the reception wanted us to go to the town to eat, DURING the storm.
Would not recommend for any non Vietnamese speaking travelers
